Regions has launched a new industry-focused team within its Corporate Banking organization: the Materials and Infrastructure Group. Led by Ryan Franco, it is intended to serve companies that manufacture or distribute materials used in building products, infrastructure, packaging and related specialty-material industries.
What is Regions’ Materials and Infrastructure Group?
Regions announced the group on October 7, 2026. The announcement describes it as a specialized corporate banking team organized around materials and infrastructure businesses. It does not publish a detailed list of the group’s banking products, financing terms, geographic coverage or client eligibility. Nor does it identify companies that have joined as clients. Which companies is the team intended to serve?
The stated focus is manufacturers and distributors of materials used in:
- Building products
- Infrastructure
- Packaging
- Related specialty-material industries
The announcement names Ryan Franco as the group’s leader. It does not specify a minimum company size, particular subsectors, or whether a business must manufacture materials rather than distribute them to be considered.

What Regions’ earlier construction-finance technology announcement establishes
In July 2021, Regions announced a digital homebuilder financing solution developed with Built. The described platform let homebuilders and developers view real-time availability, request draws and inspections, and access analytics and reporting. That announcement provides historical context for Regions’ work in construction finance, but it does not establish that the new Materials and Infrastructure Group uses the platform.
