The author said they appeared in the background of a dance reel at the homestay. On Monday, the post says, a skip-level manager sent the reel and wrote, “Hope your stomach is better.” The Reddit post is the source for the account and the quoted wording.

The five words attributed to the skip-level manager were: “Hope your stomach is better.” That is the message as quoted in the Reddit post; it has not been independently authenticated as a direct message.
What happened after the reel?
The author said they remained employed but that no later work-from-home requests were approved. That is the author’s account of what followed; the post does not establish that the reel caused those decisions or that they reflected an employer policy.

Why is the story circulating again?
Hindustan Times covered the account on May 28, 2025, while The Times of India published a summary on October 1, 2026. The later coverage means the anecdote resurfaced; it does not mean the reported incident took place in 2026. The Times of India said the reel had crossed 13,000 likes, an engagement figure reported in its summary rather than an independently verified current count. Hindustan Times coverage and The Times of India summary are secondary reports about the same post, not separate confirmation of its claims.
