Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay 2024 promotion offered a chance to win $100 in gift cards each month for four years—not unlimited meals. Entries were tied to a QR code at participating restaurant tables, but the entry period ended November 10, 2024. The contest is closed.
What Red Lobster’s four-year prize included
Red Lobster announced the Cheddar Bay 2024 campaign on September 9, 2024, describing the prize as “free Red Lobster for a presidential term – a full four years!” The actual award was 48 Red Lobster gift cards, each worth $100: one card per month for 48 months, or $4,800 in total. It was a fixed gift-card prize, not an unlimited dining plan.

How people could enter—and why you can’t enter now
The announced entry method was to scan a Cheddar Bay 2024 QR code displayed on a table at a Red Lobster restaurant. The entry period ran through November 10, 2024. That deadline has passed, so scanning a code or visiting a restaurant now should not be treated as a way to enter this sweepstakes.
#1 Best Overall
- Red Lobster is America’s favorite seafood restaurant, offering a wide variety of dishes, including fresh fish, shrimp, crab and live Maine lobster.
- Red Lobster Gift Cards are redeemable at all Red Lobster locations in the United States.
- Redemption: In-Restaurant and Online To Go
- No returns and no refunds on gift cards.
How this differs from Red Lobster Nation Rewards
Red Lobster Nation Rewards is a separate loyalty program, not a continuation of the 2024 sweepstakes. Red Lobster’s current rewards page describes earning points on eligible purchases and redeeming them for dollar-value rewards. Joining or using Rewards does not enter anyone in the closed Cheddar Bay 2024 contest; program benefits can change.
