The fully electric Range Rover is available to order in the US and UK, according to JLR’s announcements on 2 September 2026. The UK starting price is £154,070 on the road; the US starting price is $138,000 MSRP. JLR claims up to 372 miles of WLTP range in the UK and up to 333 miles of EPA range in the US. These are different test cycles, and the figures are manufacturer claims—not independent test results.
Is the Range Rover Electric a full EV?
Yes. This is a battery-electric Range Rover with two electric motors. It is distinct from the Range Rover P460e and P550e plug-in hybrids. Specifications shown for those PHEVs—including their 116 km WLTP electric range and rapid-charging claims—do not apply to the full-electric model. What range does it claim, and how should the figures be compared?

Battery, motors and charging
Powertrain and battery
JLR describes two 260 kW permanent-magnet electric motors. Its UK release gives output of up to 550 PS and 850 Nm; its US announcement gives up to 542 hp and 627 lb-ft. These are market-specific units and manufacturer specifications. The UK launch material lists a usable 118.5 kWh battery, built from 344 prismatic cells, and an 800-volt architecture.
Charging claims
- DC rapid charging: JLR says the battery can charge from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes under its stated conditions.
- Home AC charging: The US product page provides charging information for a 19.2 kW AC charger and states 15 hours for a 0%–100% charge using a 9.6 kW AC charger.
These are manufacturer figures, not results from an independent charging test. Actual charging time varies with the charger and electrical supply, battery temperature and state of charge, and other conditions. For home charging, confirm the vehicle’s connector and power compatibility, the installation requirements and local electrical code before choosing equipment.

Performance and capability
JLR’s UK announcement lists 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.5 seconds. Its US announcement says the vehicle can wade through up to 35 inches of water; the UK release gives a maximum wading depth of up to 900 mm. These are manufacturer claims, not independently verified results. The launch material also describes rapid traction-management response, but does not provide an independent assessment of that system. Do not infer towing capacity, payload, ground clearance or trail performance from the Range Rover name; check an official specification for the relevant market and version.

That means acceleration, range, charging and water-wading figures above should be read as JLR specifications or claims, not as independently confirmed performance. The announcements say orders are open, but do not establish delivery dates.
