RajMES’s 2024 recruitment drive for 1,476 medical-teacher posts is closed. Scroll reported that online applications ended on October 24, 2024. A separate Khaskhabar report said hard-copy documents could be received until 5 p.m. on October 25, but the available reports do not establish that as an official extension.
What was the RajMES recruitment drive?
The Rajasthan Medical Education Society (RajMES) advertised medical-teacher positions in clinical and non-clinical subjects. Its advertisement is dated October 14, 2024, and said online registration would open on October 16. Scroll reported 1,476 vacancies across three designations:
| Designation | Posts |
|---|---|
| Professor | 246 |
| Assistant Professor | 665 |
| Associate Professor | 565 |
| Total | 1,476 |
These counts were reported by Scroll on October 24, 2024.
When did applications close?
Scroll reported October 24, 2024, as the application deadline. The recruitment is no longer open; the reported dates are historical, not a current application window.
#1 Best Overall
Online application deadline
The October 14 advertisement said online registration would begin October 16. Scroll’s October 24 report said the application process ended that day.
Separate hard-copy receipt report
Scroll said candidates could send a hard copy by October 24. A same-day report from Khaskhabar instead said the hard-copy application and documents could be submitted to the Directorate by 5 p.m. on October 25. The available reports do not reconcile this difference, so the October 25 cutoff should not be treated as a confirmed extension or amendment.

What did the application require?
The advertisement copy required candidates to complete the online application and provide a hard-copy application with education qualification and experience details, along with a fee-payment receipt for ₹2,000. The advertisement is available as a third-party-hosted mirror of the RajMES notice; the state-hosted PDF linked by Scroll could not be directly retrieved for verification.
