It brings together tools for equity research, portfolio analysis, strategy exploration, news sentiment, options research, alerts, and backtesting. Those features may help organize an investor’s research, but RAFA’s terms say its service is informational and that users must independently assess its outputs. No independently verified performance evidence is established in the materials reviewed.
What RAFA.AI is
RAFA.AI markets itself as an “AI Investment Copilot” built around specialized agents. Its consumer product is intended to help individual investors investigate securities, interpret market information, explore trading strategies, and monitor portfolios. The product is available through a web experience and a mobile app listing; account registration offers Google, Apple, or email sign-up (RAFA.AI product page; signup; Google Play listing).
RAFA’s terms identify Tides.Network, Inc. as the operator of its website, dashboard, and mobile application. The terms describe the service as educational, research-oriented, and informational, and say RAFA is not a broker/dealer or investment adviser. That distinction matters: analysis, portfolio tracking, and alerts are not the same as managing money or placing orders for a customer (RAFA terms).
What its AI agents are advertised to do
The product page describes several finance-oriented workflows. These are advertised capabilities, not independently established evidence of accuracy, investment returns, or superiority to other tools.

Equity research and screening
RAFA promotes deep equity research and strategy-oriented stock screening. Its examples include evaluating a company through a value-investing lens. That can be a useful way to structure questions about a business, but it does not mean the system reproduces Warren Buffett’s judgment or offers a recommendation tailored to a user’s financial circumstances. Check the underlying filings, earnings releases, assumptions, and dates behind any company analysis rather than relying on a polished summary.
Portfolio analysis and allocation
The product page illustrates portfolio construction with an allocation such as 70% stocks and 30% bonds using low-cost ETFs, and advertises portfolio-risk analysis and deep-dive reports. An illustrative allocation is not the same as assessing someone’s full financial situation, risk capacity, time horizon, taxes, or obligations. RAFA’s terms disclaim personalized investment advice. Also establish whether the analysis includes all relevant accounts, cash, options, cost basis, and other holdings before treating it as a view of total portfolio risk.
Strategies, alerts, and backtests
RAFA advertises data-driven trading strategies, swing-trade alerts, a momentum model, and portfolio backtesting. A generated entry or exit level is a hypothesis, not an instruction to trade. A backtest shows how a rule performed under chosen historical assumptions; it cannot demonstrate future profitability. Before relying on a strategy, look for out-of-sample testing, realistic slippage and transaction-cost assumptions, spread treatment, benchmark comparisons, drawdowns, and controls for survivorship and look-ahead bias. The public materials described here do not establish those details or verified returns.
News and earnings sentiment
News-sentiment analysis may help sort developments or surface questions for further reading. Its usefulness depends on source quality, publication and event timestamps, update speed, and whether it separates reported facts from interpretation. Verify important claims against the original company release or filing, especially when reports conflict or a headline refers to an older event.
Options-flow research
RAFA advertises unusual options activity and options-flow analysis. Unusual volume is not inherently bullish or bearish: it can reflect hedges, spreads, closing trades, or a leg of a larger position. Interpret any signal alongside the option’s expiration, strike, open interest, implied volatility, trade context, and the investor’s broader exposure. The advertised feature is not proof that options flow predicts price moves.
What “AI-powered” establishes—and what it does not
RAFA’s terms say its chatbot is powered by Anthropic and uses available data and predefined algorithms. That disclosure identifies an underlying AI provider; it does not establish which model version is in use, how often it changes, which market-data vendors supply inputs, how quickly data updates, or how the system performs on financial tasks (RAFA terms).
Specialized agents may offer a more structured finance workflow than a blank general-purpose chatbot, particularly if they combine portfolio context, calculations, data integrations, alerts, or backtesting. But an agent label alone does not prove a distinct model, independent validation, or better answers. The materials reviewed do not provide a complete technical specification, benchmark methodology, audited performance record, or comparative test establishing that RAFA is more accurate than a general AI assistant.
For a useful answer, look for cited sources, timestamps, calculation methods, assumptions, uncertainty, and a clear distinction between facts and interpretation. If a conclusion cannot be traced to verifiable inputs, treat it as a lead for research rather than a basis for a transaction.

Does RAFA.AI execute trades?
Do not assume that RAFA’s analysis or alerts execute trades. Its terms describe the company as neither a broker/dealer nor an investment adviser, and the public materials referenced here do not establish live trade execution through the retail app. Confirm the function and permissions of any brokerage connection in the product itself. Before acting on a suggested trade, verify the order in the brokerage account where it would actually be placed.
RAFA.AI and RAFA Protocol are different offerings
The retail app focuses on investment research and portfolio intelligence. A separate RAFA Protocol site describes a decentralized-finance initiative involving crypto-wallet interaction, smart-contract investment pools, tokenized funds, and on-chain execution (RAFA Protocol). Those are protocol-site claims and should not be attributed to the consumer research app. Readers considering either offering should identify the exact service, domain, legal entity, assets, and transaction they are evaluating.
RAFA.AI pricing and plan choice
The following prices were displayed on RAFA’s product page on August 16, 2026. The listed monthly equivalents are for annual billing; the page indicated a 17% saving with annual billing. Monthly-billing prices were not established here, so confirm the current checkout amount before subscribing (RAFA.AI product page).
| Plan | Displayed price on annual billing | Advertised capabilities |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0.00 per month | Limited daily AI messages, basic market insights, one tracked portfolio, and limited Strategy and Options Agent access; no portfolio monitoring or AI Portfolio Deep Dive Reports. |
| Basic | $12.49 per month | Five times more AI conversations, swing-trade real-time alerts, the RAFA Momentum Market Model, unlimited portfolio backtests, enhanced options research, unlimited Strategy and Options Agent access, and AI Portfolio Deep Dive Reports. |
| Higher tier | $24.91 per month | Twenty times more AI interactions, complete investment intelligence, full Strategy and Options Agent access, advanced portfolio monitoring, personalized AI deep-dive reports, and priority support. |
RAFA’s terms allow changes to pricing and service models and describe recurring subscriptions that automatically renew unless canceled under the applicable terms. Fees are generally final and non-refundable except where required by law. Review the checkout terms, renewal date, cancellation process, and any applicable app-store billing rules before paying (RAFA terms).
Which plan may fit?
- Occasional learner: Start with Free if its message limits and single tracked portfolio are enough to explore the workflow.
- Active researcher: Consider Basic only if you will use the paid alerts, options research, backtests, and reports—not simply because the plan advertises more AI conversations.
- Heavy user: The higher tier is easier to justify if its higher interaction allowance and monitoring features materially improve a repeatable research routine.
- Passive, long-term investor: If you rarely research holdings or trade, recurring AI analysis may not add enough value to justify an ongoing subscription.
To judge value, compare the time saved and features actually used against the annual commitment. Do not justify the fee on an expectation of higher returns unless independently verifiable, risk-adjusted performance records and a transparent methodology support that claim.

Verify financial facts and data freshness
AI systems can give plausible but incorrect figures, stale earnings data, wrong ticker symbols, or mistaken descriptions of corporate events. RAFA’s terms disclaim warranties about accuracy, completeness, currency, and reliability, and put responsibility for evaluating outputs on the user. For consequential claims, request sources and dates, then check company filings, original releases, and other primary material (RAFA terms).
Check what “portfolio risk” includes
Risk can mean concentration, sector exposure, volatility, drawdown, correlation, options exposure, liquidity, event risk, or tax consequences. A monitoring view is only as complete as its connected or entered holdings and the measures it actually calculates. Do not assume the app represents an entire household balance sheet or eliminates investment risk.
Review account permissions and privacy
Before connecting an investment account or entering holdings, determine whether access is read-only, whether credentials are handled by RAFA or a third-party aggregator, whether trading permission is possible, how to revoke access, and what happens to data after account deletion. Review the current privacy policy for collection, retention, third-party processing, model-training use, and deletion terms; the existence of a privacy policy alone does not establish a particular security standard.

Understand regulatory and suitability limits
RAFA’s own terms state that it is not a broker/dealer or investment adviser and is not regulated in that capacity. A software product can provide analytical tools without providing fiduciary advice. Regulatory status can depend on the service, entity, and jurisdiction; U.S. readers should independently check applicable records if a registration or affiliation is claimed. Do not use an AI output as a substitute for a qualified professional on personalized investment, tax, legal, or retirement-planning questions.
Manage subscription and trading risk
Keep a record of the renewal date and confirmation, and cancel before the next billing period if the service is not useful. If testing a strategy, account for spreads, slippage, liquidity, volatility, and changing market regimes; a signal that appeared effective in one historical period may fail in another. Never treat a precise price target as certainty.
Who may find RAFA.AI useful?
RAFA is most plausibly useful as a research-organizing tool, educational aid, second-opinion assistant, or portfolio-monitoring interface for someone willing to validate its work. Beginners may use it to generate questions and learn terminology, but should not mistake confident presentation for personalized advice.
It is a weaker fit for investors seeking guaranteed returns, a fiduciary adviser, hands-off management, institutional-grade execution or data latency, or tax and retirement advice. Readers uncomfortable sharing holdings or account information should avoid linking accounts and consider whether manual research tools are sufficient.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteCompare the product by category rather than by marketing claims: general AI assistants offer broader flexibility; market-data platforms emphasize data depth and charting; research publishers provide analyst or editorial work; broker tools tie analysis to accounts and execution; portfolio trackers focus on holdings; and human advisers can provide individualized guidance and accountability. The right comparison depends on what problem you need solved and what evidence you require before acting.
Verdict
RAFA.AI is best understood as an AI-assisted research and portfolio-analysis subscription with a specialized agent workflow, not as a demonstrated investment engine. Its advertised mix of research, portfolio tools, alerts, backtesting, and options analysis may be useful to investors who will verify the inputs and use the output as one part of their own process. The case for paying depends on whether those features fit a real, repeated need; the available materials do not establish that the service can outperform the market or replace independent due diligence.
