Which Rad Power Bikes stores were closing?
GeekWire reported on January 8, 2026, that Rad Power Bikes planned to close its Vancouver, B.C., and St. Petersburg, Florida, retail stores the following day. The same report listed these seven stores as remaining open at that time:
- Seattle, Washington
- Berkeley, Huntington Beach, Santa Barbara, and San Diego, California
- Denver, Colorado
- Salt Lake City, Utah
That is the January 2026 list reported by GeekWire. It does not establish which locations are open now. Use Rad’s locations page for current information before making a trip.
Where can owners get a Rad bike serviced?
Rad’s locations page offers a service-center locator and says its centers handle tune-ups, maintenance, and flat-tire repairs. The company says it has over 1,200 service partners nationwide; that is Rad’s own network figure, not a confirmation that a particular shop is nearby or equipped for a particular repair.

Search the locator, then contact the provider directly before booking. Ask whether it accepts your exact Rad model and can do the work you need, especially if the problem involves electrical components or the battery. The available location information does not establish which independent shops near Vancouver or St. Petersburg currently service specific models or perform those specialist repairs.

Check warranty eligibility by purchase date
Rad Life Mobility’s limited warranty terms, updated May 14, 2026, distinguish products by purchase date. The page says the company has no obligation to provide warranty or other service for Rad-branded products purchased before December 15, 2025. Its new limited warranty applies to qualifying products purchased after May 15, 2026. These statements are not a blanket determination of an individual claim; read the current terms and contact Rad about your bike and purchase.
The warranty page says Rad Power Bikes, Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on December 15, 2025, and describes a later sale of substantially all assets. Life EV announced on March 5, 2026, that it had completed a court-approved acquisition of the Rad Power Bikes brand, intellectual property, inventory, and certain operating assets, with U.S. retail operations continuing under the Rad Power Bikes brand.
