ICONIQ led the round. The financing puts a headline number on investor interest in the retailer, but it does not by itself show that Quince is profitable, establish how the company was valued, or reveal what its investors will ultimately earn.
What happened in Quince’s Series E?
Quince’s March 11, 2026 announcement said it raised $500 million in a Series E at a $10.1 billion post-money valuation. The company’s corrected release named ICONIQ as lead investor and listed Basis Set Ventures, Wellington Management, WndrCo, MarcyPen Capital Partners, Baillie Gifford, Notable Capital and DST Global as participants.
“Post-money” means the stated valuation is after the new financing. It is not a disclosed sale price for the company, nor does the announcement provide enough detail to calculate investor ownership, dilution, or the value of any particular investor’s stake.
How does the $10.1 billion figure compare with Quince’s earlier valuation?
TechCrunch reported that Quince’s previous financing was a $200 million Series D in early 2025 at a $4.5 billion valuation. The Information also reported the earlier $4.5 billion figure and said the new valuation more than doubled it. On those reported headline figures, Quince’s valuation rose from $4.5 billion to $10.1 billion between the rounds. The underlying financing terms are not disclosed in the available reporting, so that comparison does not establish a precise change in enterprise value.

What does Quince sell, and how does it describe its model?
Quince is a consumer retailer selling apparel, home goods, accessories, beauty and wellness products, according to TechCrunch. The company calls its approach a “manufacturer-to-consumer” or M2C platform. That is Quince’s description of its business model, not independent proof that every conventional retail intermediary has been removed from its supply chain.
In its release, Quince said the financing reflected “investor conviction in a fundamentally different retail model designed to eliminate the inefficiencies embedded in traditional pricing.” That is the company’s promotional characterization; the announcement does not independently demonstrate that the model eliminates those inefficiencies.

What do Quince’s reported revenue and growth figures show?
The Information reported that Quince said it exceeded $1 billion in revenue in the prior year and had more than doubled growth in every fiscal year since its 2018 founding. These are company-reported figures as conveyed by The Information, not audited financial results established in the available reporting. The report does not define the growth measure, and revenue alone does not establish profitability.
Neither the financing announcement nor the cited reporting supplies a valuation methodology, detailed financial statements, or evidence that Quince is profitable. The $10.1 billion figure is therefore best read as the stated post-money valuation associated with this financing—not as a measure of current earnings, guaranteed future performance, or investor returns.
