The result belongs to 2024: the association’s awards site lists The Good Company & Co as its 2026 Business of the Year.
What Quest Joondalup won
At the 2024 awards, Quest Joondalup received the night’s top honour, Joondalup Business of the Year, as well as the Hospitality and Tourism Industry Award. PerthNow reported on 31 August 2024 that Quest was the only winner to take home two awards. The City of Joondalup’s 2024 winners list independently names Quest as Business of the Year, and Quest’s own public announcement confirms both awards.
The awards were hosted by the Joondalup Business Association and sponsored by the City of Joondalup, according to Quest’s announcement. The two categories recognize separate distinctions: the overall Business of the Year title and an award in hospitality and tourism.
What is Quest Joondalup?
PerthNow described Quest Joondalup as an apartment hotel that opened in 2019. Its report said the property had 90 rooms, ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments, and was positioned between the health campus, Lakeside Shopping Centre and Edith Cowan University. Those are details reported in 2024, not confirmation of current room inventory or availability.
Why the award matters in the local context
The City of Joondalup’s 2024–25 annual report describes the wider local business community as comprising 13,000 businesses, more than 56,000 jobs and over $7.8 billion in annual activity. Those are City-level estimates for the area; they are not figures for Quest Joondalup and do not show the hotel’s individual economic contribution.

Keep the award year attached
Quest’s title is specifically the 2024 Joondalup Business of the Year award, not a current or perpetual designation. The Joondalup Business Association’s awards site names The Good Company & Co as the 2026 winner. The years identify different award cycles, so Quest’s 2024 result should not be presented as the latest winner.
