No available evidence establishes Qubetics (TICS), Bitget Token (BGB), or GateToken (GT) as the “best crypto to invest in.” The $17.5 million figure was reported by TechBullion on May 29, 2025, not independently audited in the sources reviewed. Since then, Qubetics has said TICS migrated to Ethereum and that development of several previously proposed features is not currently being commissioned under its existing structure.
What the May 29, 2025 article claimed
TechBullion reported that Qubetics was at presale stage 36, had raised more than $17.5 million, sold more than 514 million TICS, and had more than 27,200 holders. Those are figures attributed to that article and its publication date. They should not be read as independently audited fundraising, sales, or holder statistics.
The article also described Bitget as launching BGUSD and discussed GateToken in the context of altcoin investing. That framing does not establish how either token performed, whether either was a suitable investment, or how the three assets compared on risk or value. A June 2025 Bitget News article repeated related presale assertions, but repetition is not independent verification.
What the article’s “best crypto” framing leaves unanswered
Calling an asset the best investment requires a defined comparison and evidence relevant to an investor’s circumstances. The cited material does not provide an independently published ranking of TICS, BGB, and GT, nor a consistent comparison of their current contracts, supply, documented utility, availability, liquidity, volatility, delivery status, and asset-specific regulatory disclosures. It therefore cannot support a reliable ranking or a current investment recommendation.

In particular, the presale milestone figures do not show what a token is worth, whether it can be sold on accessible markets, or what return an investor might receive. Do not use presale-to-listing arithmetic, promotional scarcity language, or the article’s “best” wording as a substitute for those missing facts.
How Qubetics’ later update changes the story
In an official update dated October 6, 2026, Qubetics said TICS had migrated to Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. The same update said the project was “not currently commissioning continued development of the previously proposed Layer 1, chain abstraction protocol or dVPN” under its existing development structure. The update also acknowledged: “We recognise that this differs from the direction described in August.” These are the issuer’s statements about its own project, and they materially qualify earlier promotional descriptions of that roadmap.

What TICS holders should know about the migration
Qubetics’ September 2026 migration materials describe a 1:1 migration and identify block 6,650,277 as the snapshot. The official portal, checked October 8, 2026, reported claims open. Its instructions say eligible holders should use the same wallet address that held native TICS at the snapshot; smart-contract wallets are ineligible. The portal names MetaMask and Trust Wallet as examples of non-custodial wallets and says ETH is needed for gas.
- Check the live official portal and any relevant exchange notice before taking action; do not rely on an old deadline or assume that a holding is eligible.
- If TICS was held through an exchange, consult that exchange’s current instructions. The migration guide names MEXC and LBank in connection with exchange-held token migration, but that mention does not establish current support for every account or jurisdiction.
- The portal’s wallet examples do not make a particular wallet or hardware device a migration requirement. Confirm compatibility and security details through official instructions before connecting a wallet or signing a transaction.
What the SEC statement does—and does not—say
The SEC’s April 10, 2025 statement discusses crypto-asset offerings and registrations involving investment contracts. It does not, on its own, determine the legal classification or compliance status of TICS, BGB, or GT. No claim that any of these tokens is SEC-approved, registered, or legally compliant follows from that general statement.
Qubetics’ own disclaimer says TICS is not intended to constitute a security, digital currency, commodity, or other financial instrument, and warns that interacting with supported tokens or applications may result in substantial or total loss. That is the project’s disclaimer, not a regulator’s determination or an independent assessment of the token’s risks.

Treat “Best Crypto to Invest in May 2025?” as a historical question about a promotional article, not as a current conclusion. The reported presale totals are dated claims; Qubetics’ subsequent update describes a changed development direction and an Ethereum migration. The available evidence does not establish a defensible ranking among TICS, BGB, and GT. Anyone considering a token would need current, independently verifiable information about the asset and its market, as well as a clear understanding of the possibility of losing some or all of the amount invested.
