What new pumpkin treats did Publix announce for fall 2025?
Publix’s September 29, 2025 announcement introduced three new bakery options:
- Pumpkin and Cheese Croissants: Filled with pumpkin and sweet cream cheese, then finished with vanilla drizzle.
- Pumpkin Mini Cake: Decorated with cream cheese icing and buttercream pumpkins.
- Pumpkin Petite Shortcake: Pumpkin cake filled with mascarpone cream cheese and topped with whipped topping swirls.
Publix described the products as seasonal and said they would not last long, but did not give a specific end date or confirm inventory at individual stores. Publix’s September 29 announcement directed shoppers to nearby stores and mentioned delivery or curbside pickup powered by Instacart.

What did Publix feature at its fall tasting events?
Two separate 2025 announcements mentioned pumpkin items in connection with tasting events. On September 8, Publix listed Glazed Pumpkin Cake Donuts for a tasting scheduled for September 13. On October 7, it listed Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Iced Bread as a sample for an October 11 event scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those event dates have passed; they are not upcoming tastings. The October announcement also suggested fall recipes, including Pumpkin-Maple Cream Cheese Roll Cake and Pumpkin Cheesecake Brownies. Yes. Publix’s September 26, 2025 seasonal ice cream announcement described limited-edition offerings available in stores during fall while supplies lasted, and said some were annual limited-edition offerings.
