The PSTET 2018 result was declared on March 23, 2020, after the exam was held on January 19, 2020. “2018” is the exam-cycle label, not the year the test took place. The steps reported at the time used pstet.net, but they do not confirm that the old result login still works today.
When was the PSTET 2018 result declared?
The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2018 result was declared on March 23, 2020. The examination had been conducted on January 19, 2020, despite “2018” appearing in the cycle name. Can you still use the old result login?
It has not been confirmed that the 2018 result login is still accessible. The current official PSTET site carries notices for newer cycles, including a December 2024 result notice and a revised-result login notice dated August 28, 2025. Those notices show current-cycle activity, not continued access to the historical 2018 result.
If the old page or login does not work, use current official PSTET or Punjab School Education Board channels to ask how to retrieve the record. Avoid entering credentials on unofficial pages. If you already have your result or certificate, keep a saved copy and a printed copy where practical.

What a PSTET result means
Paper I and Paper II
Historical result coverage identifies Paper I with teaching eligibility for Classes I–V and Paper II with Classes VI–VIII. Check your own result and certificate to confirm which paper or papers you qualified in.
Passing is not a job offer
A qualifying result establishes eligibility, not recruitment or employment. A reproduced PSTET certificate states: “Qualifying the PSTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only the eligibility criteria for appointment.” It further says the appointing authority must verify eligibility and category. Read the terms on your own certificate and the recruitment notice for the post you want; hiring requirements are determined by the applicable authority.

Check the certificate’s terms
A reproduced certificate dated March 23, 2020 says it was valid for seven years from the result declaration date. That statement is specific to the certificate copy and should not be treated as a universal rule for every PSTET cycle. Use the validity terms on your own certificate and confirm requirements in the relevant recruitment notice.
