PSSSB admit cards for Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer Civil (O&M) under Advertisement 06/2023 were reported released on January 18, 2024. The exam was scheduled for January 20, 2024; both dates are in the past.
When were the PSSSB JE Civil admit cards released?
Contemporaneous reports from Scroll and Hindustan Times said the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) released the admit cards on January 18, 2024. The announcement covered Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer Civil (O&M) posts under Advertisement 06/2023.
When was the exam scheduled?
The reports gave January 20, 2024, as the scheduled exam date for these posts. That date has passed, so this is a historical recruitment update, not notice of an upcoming examination.
How candidates were told to download the admit card
Scroll’s report directed candidates to the official PSSSB website and described retrieving the card using either a roll number or an application number. The reported steps were:
- Visit the PSSSB website.
- Open the Advertisements section and select the admit-card notification for the recruitment.
- Choose the reported download option using a roll number or application number, then enter the requested details.
- Save or print the admit card.
These are instructions reported at the time, not confirmation that the original download link or archive remains active. Anyone checking old records should use PSSSB’s official site and verify its current navigation and available notices. The original PSSSB notice was not available in the contemporaneous reports cited above, so the dates and procedure here are attributed to those reports.

Advertisement 06/2023 is distinct from later Junior Engineer recruitment activity. A recruitment-history listing records the Advertisement 06/2023 admit-card notice, while 2026 reporting about Advertisement 16/2025 concerns a separate cycle. The later notices should not be treated as updates to the 2023 advertisement.
