What are Progresso Soup Drops?
Soup Drops are individually wrapped savory hard candies made to evoke Progresso soup flavors. General Mills first introduced them in January 2025 as a limited-edition Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup-inspired candy. The original can contained 20 drops, and each order included a can of actual Progresso Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup. General Mills’ January 2025 announcement described the candy as a new way to enjoy the soup’s flavor.
Where can you buy them now?
As of October 8, 2026, current availability is unconfirmed. General Mills’ latest announcement said the three-flavor variety can would be sold exclusively online at Walmart.com on January 15 and each remaining Thursday in January 2026, while supplies lasted. Those dates have passed, and the announcement does not confirm remaining inventory or another release. Check Walmart.com or the official Progresso Soup Drops page for a current listing before attempting to buy.
The 2025 launch used a different sales channel: ProgressoSoupDrops.com. Neither past retailer announcement is proof that the product is currently for sale.
