The CNMV’s foreign-regulator warning record identifies proficator.com, attributes the warning to Belgium’s FSMA and dates it 26 March 2025. That is a meaningful reason to avoid depositing until you verify the provider and the specific service with the regulator in your jurisdiction. The listing does not, by itself, prove criminal fraud, customer losses or the platform’s current status.
What is the Proficator warning?
The CNMV’s foreign-regulator warning listing names PROFICATOR and HTTPS://PROFICATOR.COM, shows the date as 26/03/2025, categorizes the entry as “No autorizadas” (unauthorized), and identifies FSMA (Belgium) as the regulator. In other words, the surfaced record is a 2025 warning—not a 2024 warning.
The underlying FSMA detail page was not independently available here, so the listing supports reporting the regulator attribution, date, name, domain and classification, but not a further explanation of the warning’s basis. Treat the warning as a significant authorization concern, not as a complete account of the company or its conduct.
Does the warning prove Proficator is a scam?
No. The listing classifies Proficator as unauthorized; that is a serious reason to pause and verify authorization before sending money. On its own, however, it does not establish criminal fraud, prove that customers lost money, or show how the platform operates today. The available information also does not verify Proficator’s owners, licensing status in every country, fees, minimum deposit, withdrawal process, customer outcomes, or whether it currently accepts clients.

What to verify before using a trading service
The CFTC’s general guide to suspicious crypto and forex trading websites is not an investigation of Proficator, but its checks can help assess any provider:
- Authorization for the exact activity: Search the regulator in your country for the legal entity and the specific service being offered. A firm’s name or a website’s claim is not a substitute for an authorization record.
- Identifiable company and contact details: Independently check the business address and customer-service contacts rather than relying only on details supplied by the platform.
- Domain and company history: Compare claims about how long a website or business has operated with independently verifiable history.
- Payment requests and return claims: Be cautious about requests to transfer cryptocurrency and promises of unusually high or guaranteed returns. Crypto transfers can be irreversible. The CFTC puts it plainly: “There are no risk-free investments or guaranteed returns.”
- Testimonials: Treat testimonials as claims to verify, not proof that a provider is authorized or that customers can withdraw funds.
These are general precautions, not findings that Proficator requested crypto, promised returns, or used any particular practice.

The warning listing is not a current status check. Before considering any deposit, check the relevant regulator’s live records for the legal entity and activity, and independently verify the company and contact details. While authorization remains unresolved, do not transfer funds. Warning databases and authorization status can change, so consult the regulator directly rather than relying on an old page or a platform’s own assurances.
