The company said the oversubscribed round valued it at more than $1 billion post-money and would support its move from shipping Atlas inference systems toward its next-generation Asimov silicon. The Series B is not Positron’s latest financing: Reuters reported in September 2026 that the company subsequently raised $875 million across Series C and Series C-1 rounds.
Who led Positron’s $230 million funding?
Positron named three co-leads in its February 4, 2026 announcement: ARENA Private Wealth, Jump Trading, and Unless. The company described the $230 million Series B as oversubscribed and said it brought Positron’s post-money valuation above $1 billion. These are figures and characterizations from Positron’s announcement, not an independently reported valuation assessment. Positron’s Series B announcement
The company also identified QIA, Arm, and Helena as strategic or new investors, and said existing investors participated. The release does not give individual investment amounts, so it does not establish how much any one investor contributed or how the round was divided among the co-leads.
Why were financial trading firms involved?
Jump Trading’s role connects the funding story to financial trading: EE Times reported that Jump was first a Positron customer and later became an investor. That customer-to-investor detail is EE Times’ reporting; it is not stated in Positron’s financing announcement. EE Times’ report on the round

The available accounts do not explain Jump’s investment rationale in its own words or disclose the terms of its customer relationship. Positron’s stated rationale for the funding is tied to its hardware roadmap: the company said it was shipping Atlas systems and intended to advance its next-generation Asimov silicon.
What Positron said the funding would support
Atlas systems
Positron said it was shipping Atlas inference systems. Its announcement frames Atlas as the product already moving into shipment, but does not provide shipment volumes, customer names, or independent performance comparisons. Positron’s Series B announcement

Asimov silicon
The company’s February 2026 roadmap targeted an Asimov silicon tape-out in late 2026 and production in early 2027. Those dates are company targets, not confirmation that tape-out or production has since occurred. The company linked its work to the demands of AI inference, including memory capacity and bandwidth; SemiAnalysis founder and CEO Dylan Patel said, “Memory bandwidth and capacity are two of the key limiters for scaling AI inference workloads for next-generation models.” Positron’s announcement and roadmap

Positron’s financing changed after the February Series B. Reuters reported on September 10, 2026, in a story republished by Investing.com, that the company raised $875 million across a Series C and a Series C-1. The later amount is separate from the $230 million Series B; it should not be added to or treated as a revision of that round. Reuters reporting republished by Investing.com
