The preview announcement is an overview of selected objects, not a complete sale catalogue. It does not state lot estimates, buyer’s premium, bidding or registration requirements, realized prices, or sale results. Do not treat a highlighted object’s description as a substitute for reviewing its catalogue entry and supporting documentation.

For a potential purchase, examine the relevant lot’s catalogue record and ask the auction house what condition reports, provenance records and other documentation are available. For gemstones, origin, treatment status, grading and laboratory reports are separate questions; a release description alone does not establish independent verification. For a watch, the named model and movement identify the highlighted piece but say nothing about its estimate or eventual sale price.
The announcement also quotes Wu Guanzhong in connection with Old Riverside Trees: “Form may take flight into abstraction, but its connection to life must never be severed.” The attribution is presented by the auction house; it should not be treated here as independently verified.
