The announced goal was to strengthen Highrise’s creator tools and support new games, worlds and more tailored player experiences—not a guarantee of specific product changes. The acquisition was reported on January 27, 2025; financial terms were not disclosed.
What the acquisition means for Highrise
Pocket Worlds said Infinite Canvas would help bolster creator tools and enable more tailored experiences in Highrise. GamesBeat reported that the team joined Pocket Worlds to focus on innovation in games, worlds and tools for the platform. These are the companies’ stated aims; the available reporting does not establish what changes have since shipped or what results the integration has produced.
For Highrise creators and players, the significance is the addition of a team whose work combined user-created experiences with AI. The announcement points to a direction for development, not a confirmed feature roadmap.
What Infinite Canvas built
Infinite Canvas worked on AI-powered experiences across platforms including Roblox and Discord. Pocket Worlds CEO Anton Bernstein’s public announcement also named Fortnite and Highrise. GamesBeat described the team’s proprietary AI technology as supporting experiences where large language models interact with players to provide tailored and consistent interactions.
