How to interpret the portfolio snapshot
It is a past-date disclosure, not a live portfolio
A 13F reports eligible holdings for a stated reporting period. This one describes positions as of June 30, 2026, even though it was filed on August 14. Holdings may have changed by the time a reader sees the filing.
Rank #2
It does not establish Thiel’s complete investments
The SEC table lists entries reported by Thiel Macro LLC for the period. It should not be read as a comprehensive inventory of Thiel’s personal assets, all investments managed by associated entities, or every type of financial exposure. A change in a reported position’s value between filings can reflect market-price movement, new capital, or buying and selling; the figure alone does not establish which occurred.
The SEC filing is not an endorsement
The SEC notes that it has not necessarily reviewed the filing and that readers should not assume the submitted information is accurate and complete. Treat the table as a filer-submitted disclosure, rather than an SEC-verified assessment of performance or investment rationale.
Rank #3
What the filing does—and does not—say about Thiel’s strategy
The concentration of named energy-related companies makes “power and energy stocks” a reasonable description of much of this particular filing. But a list of positions does not explain why they were held, whether Thiel personally selected them, or what the manager expected from them. No stated rationale for this Q2 2026 portfolio is established by the filing or the cited biographies.
