The winning entry was a Slikpik 30 sold at Garden City Lottery Centre in Booragoon. It won one of two Division 1 shares of the $50 million Powerball jackpot in Draw 1534 on 9 October 2025.
What happened to the Perth Powerball ticket?
Lotterywest announced the WA Division 1 win on 9 October 2025 but initially withheld the retailer’s name to protect the winner. It said the entry was a single-entry ticket, was not registered to a Lotterywest membership and had been sold in the Perth metropolitan area. Lotterywest’s announcement of the draw reported that two Division 1 winners shared the $50 million jackpot, receiving $25 million each.
On 17 October, Lotterywest identified the winning WA ticket as a Slikpik 30 purchased at Garden City Lottery Centre in Booragoon. The prize was still unclaimed when the location was publicized. On 28 October, PerthNow reported that the winner had come forward and claimed it. The outlet described him as a man in his 50s from south of the river and reported that he had forgotten he bought the ticket; those personal details come from PerthNow, not Lotterywest. Lotterywest’s 17 October notice and PerthNow’s follow-up document the change in status.
Which draw and numbers were involved?
The winning entry was for Powerball Draw 1534, held on 9 October 2025. Lotterywest’s official Draw 1534 results list the main numbers as 11, 21, 15, 28, 10, 20 and 24, with Powerball 20. The WA ticket shared the Division 1 jackpot with another winner; it did not win the full $50 million alone.
