A Perth man reportedly won $546,068 in Saturday Lotto after matching all six main numbers. He told PerthNow he plans to retire a little earlier and travel around Australia with his wife, potentially in a more luxurious caravan than they had first intended.

What are the Perth winner’s travel plans?

The unnamed winner told PerthNow he and his wife planned to travel around Australia after his win. He said the prize could let him retire a little earlier and consider “probably a bit more luxurious caravan than (they) had initially planned”. The report does not name a caravan model or say that the couple had bought one.

How much did he win?

PerthNow reported that the Saturday Lotto division-one prize was $546,068. The winner said he had played his favourite numbers for 30 years and recalled: “I had a good feeling I might get six this weekend.”

Where did he buy the ticket, and what were the numbers?

According to PerthNow, the man lives south of the river and bought his ticket at Newstime Lottery Centre in Perth CBD. The report listed the draw’s main numbers as 1, 28, 19, 6, 17 and 10, with supplementary numbers 35 and 14.

What else did the report say about the draw?

PerthNow reported that eight other people won division two, receiving nearly $10,000 each; it did not give their exact prize amounts. Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender was quoted saying Saturday Lotto “continues to be the game that produces more division one wins in WA than any other game.” The report supplied no counts, time period or methodology for that comparison.
