Perry Farrell’s former Venice home was offered for $2,695,000 in 2025, according to Fancy Pants Homes. That is a dated asking price, not a confirmed current listing price: the sources reviewed do not establish whether the property later sold, was relisted or remains available. The Los Angeles Times reported that Farrell sold the home in 2010 for $1,425,000.
What is Perry Farrell’s former Venice home like?
Property coverage describes the house as a live-work residence shaped around music and media, rather than a conventional celebrity mansion. It is in Venice, Los Angeles, and was designed by architect Steven Ehrlich. Fancy Pants Homes reported three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 2,073 square feet in 2025; Fox Business described the house as a 1949 home. These are reported property details, not findings from an independent inspection.
A music- and media-focused interior
Reports describe a two-story barrel-vaulted ceiling finished in maple veneer above an open living, dining and media area. The reported media features include studio-quality surround speakers, concealed film and blue screens, and a custom maple audiovisual cabinet. The coverage does not identify specific speaker or projector brands, or establish that Farrell recorded a particular album there.
Indoor-outdoor features
Sliding glass doors reportedly connect the great room to a courtyard with a lap pool. Coverage also mentions a rooftop terrace and a three-car garage.

How much was the home listed for, and what happened in 2010?
The reported prices trace two different points in the home’s history. The 2025 figure is an asking price; the 2010 figure is a reported completed sale. They should not be treated as equivalent measures of present value.
| Reported date | Price | What the figure represents | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2010 | $1.6 million | Asking price when Farrell put the home on the market, according to the Los Angeles Times | Los Angeles Times, March 2010 |
| 2010 | $1,425,000 | Reported sale price, according to the Los Angeles Times | Los Angeles Times, May 2010 |
| 2025 | $2,695,000 | Reported asking price, according to Fancy Pants Homes | Fancy Pants Homes, October 2025 |
Fox Business also described the 2025 offering as a $2.6 million listing. Neither 2025 report establishes the property’s later sale or availability status. The figures above are reported listing and transaction amounts, not an independent appraisal or market analysis.

Fancy Pants Homes reported 2,073 square feet in 2025. The Los Angeles Times described the property as 2,203 square feet in both its March 2010 listing report and May 2010 sale report. The sources do not explain the 130-square-foot difference, so it should be presented as a discrepancy between dated reports rather than evidence that the home changed in size.
The 2010 Times coverage also described an Asian-influenced design, a loft office, rooftop terrace, lap pool and three-car garage. Its sale report mentioned a Korean barbecue built into a raised Japanese table. Those details document what was reported at the time; they do not confirm the features’ current condition.
