Party Icons announced a $9 million funding round led by BITKRAFT Ventures on October 23, 2024, and said the investment brought its total funding to $20 million. The company presented Party Icons as a mobile-first gaming and social platform with several game modes—not a single standalone game—and said it planned to use the money for product development and international expansion.
What Party Icons announced about the funding
The October 23, 2024 announcement described a private $9 million round led by BITKRAFT Ventures. Party Icons said the round brought its total funding to $20 million. Those are figures reported by the company; separate trade coverage also reported the $9 million round and BITKRAFT’s role as lead investor.
The company announcement named IDG Capital, Gam3Girl Ventures, Leap Capital, Mantle Network, King River Capital, Mask Network, Yield Guild Games, Zentry, 32-Bit Ventures, Ed3n Ventures, and Palm Drive Capital among the other participants. It also named individual investors Sebastien Borget and Cristian Manea. Party Icons’ announcement contains the company’s account of the round and its participants. The Block and PocketGamer.biz also reported the round. The Block’s coverage and PocketGamer.biz’s coverage corroborated the lead investor and amount.
What the company said it was building
Party Icons described itself as a mobile-first platform organized around Miragio, an interactive island lobby with social hubs and portals into games. Its announcement-era coverage laid out three playable modes with different styles, combining casual party games with a more competitive extraction format.

Party Heist
Party Heist was described as a party royale game in which four teams of two compete, with an extraction mechanic. Players could reportedly take an early exit with treasure or accept greater risk in pursuit of bigger rewards. Quinn Campbell, then the company’s VP of Growth, said the intended approach was not to compete with heavily tactical shooters: “the key word here is ‘party.’” That was the company’s framing of the design, not an independent assessment of how the game played.
Party Brawl and Carnival Clash
Party Brawl was reported as a 3v3 team deathmatch mode. Carnival Clash was described as a collection of more than 25 casual party games. Together, the modes suggested a platform built to offer different session types rather than one continuous game loop.

God Mode and livestream spectators
GamesBeat reported a fourth, secret mode called God Mode associated with OGX̅ NFT holders, as well as a concept for livestream viewers to influence gameplay. At the time of that coverage, testing was underway with selected streaming platforms and rollout was expected in 2025. The sources reviewed do not confirm whether either feature became available.
How the platform was expected to work
GamesBeat reported access on iOS, Android, and PC. Campbell said most sessions were designed to last under 12 minutes; that is an attributed statement about the intended design, not a measured average. The mix of a social lobby, multiple games, and Web3 infrastructure was presented as the basis for a broader platform. The company’s co-founder Claire Lin described the ambition as a place where players could enjoy game mechanics and participate in a “player-driven economy.”

BITKRAFT principal Jonathan Huang characterized the concept as combining party games with extraction shooters and using Web3 technology to enable a “verticalized UGC platform.” These are statements of the company and investor vision; the cited reporting does not independently establish the scale or operation of a player-driven economy or user-generated-content ecosystem.
What Party Icons said it would fund
In October 2024, Party Icons said it intended to direct the proceeds toward developing gaming and social experiences, expanding Web3-enabled functionality and infrastructure, and pursuing global expansion into key markets in 2025. PocketGamer.biz reported the same expansion plan. These were forward-looking plans at the time of the announcement, not confirmation that expansion took place.
