What EduFi reportedly won at LEAP 2025
LEAP 2025 took place in Riyadh from February 9 to 12, 2025, according to TechJuice’s report. The report says EduFi took first place in the conference’s Rocket Fuel Pitch Competition, a startup showcase for investors and industry participants.
TechJuice reported that the award included a $250,000 cash prize and that EduFi beat more than 2,000 competitors. These are figures reported by TechJuice, not independently confirmed here against an event announcement. Its story attributes some information to PTV, but no underlying PTV report or primary event announcement is available in the sources cited here.
Who accepted the award
TechJuice identifies Aleena Nadeem as EduFi’s founder and CEO and says she accepted the award. The available coverage does not provide an independently verified statement from Nadeem or another named speaker, so no personal quote is attributed to her here.

What EduFi does
Coverage describes EduFi as a student-financing platform that evaluates applicants’ credit, pays tuition for eligible students, and allows monthly repayments while they are studying. This is a high-level description in reporting, not a confirmed statement of current product terms. The available sources do not establish present eligibility rules, rates, fees, loan availability, or how to apply.
A LinkedIn post from Voiceup Pakistan repeats the award and service details, but it is a repost rather than independent confirmation: Voiceup Pakistan’s post.

What the award does—and does not—tell prospective borrowers
The reported competition win is recognition for EduFi at a startup pitch event. It does not, by itself, verify that financing is currently available to a particular student, university, or programme, or establish what borrowing would cost. Anyone considering EduFi financing would need current terms directly from the provider, including eligibility, tuition coverage, fees and rates, repayment obligations, and participating institutions.
