The figures below are historical rates from that dated bulletin—not live rates or guaranteed quotes for individual customers.
NBP exchange rates on December 3, 2025
NBP’s Treasury & Capital Markets Group issued FX Rates Sheet No. 228/2025 on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. The figures below are Pakistani rupees per one unit of the named foreign currency. “Selling” and “buying” follow the headings on NBP’s sheet.

The two rate categories are not interchangeable. For example, the December 3 USD selling rate is PKR 280.85 for a ready transaction (TT), compared with PKR 282.25 for cash or currency notes. Check the relevant category and whether you need a buying or selling rate before using a figure.

What the other tables on the bulletin mean
Indicative FBP rates
The bulletin’s indicative FBP table is separate from its ready-transaction rates. For USD, it lists 279.07 for sight/15 days, then 277.79, 275.13, 272.84, 270.30, 267.69, and 265.33 in the 1M through 6M columns, respectively. These are indicative forward-booking prices by tenor, not ready-transaction or cash-note quotes.
Frozen foreign-currency deposit conversions
For conversions of frozen foreign-currency deposits, the December 3 sheet lists USD 280.447, GBP 370.4144, EUR 325.6831, and JPY 1.7998 Pakistani rupees per currency unit. The table gives Friday, December 5, 2025 as the settlement date. These conversion figures serve a distinct purpose from the other rate categories.

How to use the figures
- Identify the currency and rate category: ready transaction, cash/currency notes, indicative FBP, or frozen-deposit conversion.
- For ready transactions and cash notes, select the buying or selling column that matches the transaction.
- For FBP figures, check the tenor as well as the currency; the number varies by booking period.
- For a transaction, consult NBP’s current published information and the applicable terms rather than relying on this historical bulletin.
Source and date
NBP’s rate-sheet archive lists dated bulletins, including the December 3, 2025 entry. The sheet identifies itself as computer generated and not requiring a signature. It states: “NBP captures above foreign exchange rates from sources believed to be reliable.” That qualification does not establish a guaranteed rate for every customer or transaction.
