Why did Pak Suzuki raise the price?
Pak Suzuki attributed the July 2025 revision to government-imposed taxes and levies, including the new NEV levy in the 2025–26 budget. In the company statement reproduced by Business Recorder, Pak Suzuki said: “No impact of an increase in financial economic cost has been transferred to the customer. The price revision solely reflects the increase in government-imposed taxes and levies.” This is the company’s stated rationale, not an independently verified breakdown of the price change.
