No verified evidence shows that Paddy Pimblett had a hidden UFC 324 contract clause or confirms what he was paid. A podcast transcript attributes a “biggest paycheck” taunt to Ilia Topuria, but it provides neither contract language nor a purse figure. UFC 324 took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on January 24, 2026. In the interim lightweight title main event, Justin Gaethje defeated Pimblett by unanimous decision. A January 26 Morning Kombat transcript attributes this social-media taunt to Ilia Topuria: “You just lost the biggest paycheck of your life. You were going to get rich if you won.” The transcript reports Topuria’s words; it does not substantiate them as a contractual fact. It gives no dollar amount, reproduces no contract, and identifies no clause that would have triggered a payment if Pimblett won.
What UFC 324 payments did UFC publicly describe?
UFC reported Dana White’s post-event description of the event’s public bonus terms: $100,000 Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night awards, plus $25,000 finish bonuses. White said the finish bonuses replaced the former discretionary checks. UFC’s bonus report concerns event awards, not a disclosed Pimblett purse or a win-triggered contract payment.

UFC also awarded Gaethje and Pimblett Fight of the Night. That recognition does not establish what either fighter received under a private agreement; the published bonus terms should not be treated as a full accounting of an individual fighter’s pay.
