One ticket won the entire A$70 million Oz Lotto Division 1 prize in the Tuesday, April 15, 2025 draw, according to PerthNow and 7NEWS. But one winning ticket does not necessarily mean one person received the whole amount: Lottery USA reported that the entry was a syndicate shared by 15 Queenslanders.
What happened in the April 15 Oz Lotto draw?
The completed Tuesday-night draw had one Division 1-winning ticket, which claimed the reported A$70 million prize pool. PerthNow reported the result on April 15, 2025, and 7NEWS likewise described a single ticket as the only entry matching the Division 1 requirements.
The distinction matters: the reports establish one winning ticket, not that a single individual kept the full jackpot.
Did one person receive all A$70 million?
Not necessarily. Lottery USA reported that the winning ticket was a syndicate entry shared by 15 Queenslanders. The article does not establish how the prize was divided among them, so no individual payout amount can be stated from these reports.

Lottery USA also attributed a statement to The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell saying that the group had become multimillionaires and that some registered ticket holders might not yet have discovered the result. That statement is reported secondhand by Lottery USA.
What were the winning numbers?
PerthNow listed these numbers for the draw:
- Main numbers: 8, 13, 14, 23, 29, 32, 41
- Supplementary numbers: 4, 40, 43
Were there other major winners?
PerthNow reported 41 Division 2 winners, each receiving A$24,374.50. It also quoted Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney saying: “There are now three division one prizes, each worth more than $1 million, somewhere in WA, and we are waiting to welcome the owners of these tickets to Lotterywest Winner’s Room.”
