The provisional OSSSC answer key reported in August 2024 was for Pharmacist and Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) posts under Combined Recruitment Examination-2023(III). Candidates were instructed to use the login area on the OSSSC website to check and download it. The reported deadline to submit suggestions was 28 August 2024, so that objection window has closed; current access to the historical key is not confirmed.
Which OSSSC answer key was released in 2024?
The answer key covered the written test for Pharmacist and MPHW (Male) under Combined Recruitment Examination-2023(III), not every OSSSC health-worker recruitment. The test took place on 3 August 2024, according to the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) notice. A contemporaneous report said the provisional key was published on 22 August 2024 and listed 28 August 2024 as the last date for submitting suggestions (Scroll.in, 23 August 2024).
How to check the Pharmacist and MPHW (Male) answer key
- Go to the official OSSSC website.
- Open the login tab and enter your login details, then submit them.
- Look for the answer key for Pharmacist and MPHW (Male) under CRE-2023(III), then check or download it if the page is available.
These are the steps reported at the time of release. The report did not specify the credential fields, and it does not establish that the historical answer-key page still works. Check the current OSSSC portal for available notices and account-support details rather than relying on an old page address.
Dates and objection status
| Event | Date and detail |
|---|---|
| Written test | 3 August 2024; OSSSC later described the exam as held in multiple shifts with multiple question sets. |
| Provisional answer key reported | 22 August 2024, as reported contemporaneously by Scroll.in. |
| Suggestions or objections deadline | 28 August 2024, as reported contemporaneously by Scroll.in. This deadline has passed. |
OSSSC’s later provisional-result notice says raw scores were converted to normalized scores using the latest formula followed by the National Testing Agency. A response-by-response check against the provisional key therefore cannot by itself establish a final score or selection status.
Do not confuse it with the MPHW (Female)-2023 key
OSSSC’s archive lists a separate answer key titled “Answer Keys to the Questions of the Written Test for the post of Multipurpose Health Worker(Female) – 2023,” published on 7 December 2023. A revision notice for that female-post cycle followed on 5 February 2024. Those notices concern MPHW (Female)-2023, not the Pharmacist and MPHW (Male) CRE-2023(III) key.
The February 2024 notice defines a “Grace Mark” as follows: “ ‘Grace Mark’ means all candidates will get full mark/s irrespective of whether they had answered the question or not.” That wording applies to the revised MPHW (Female)-2023 item described in that notice; it should not be assumed to govern the separate Pharmacist/MPHW (Male) cycle.

If you cannot access the old key
- Check the current OSSSC portal for the relevant recruitment notice or any retained answer-key link.
- Use the portal’s current contact information if you cannot access your candidate account.
- Do not treat the expired objection deadline as open or infer final marks or selection from the provisional key alone.
OSSSC also provides an official old question paper page with downloadable booklets, which can be useful for practice but is separate from the answer key.
