Scroll later reported that activation was postponed to 22 January, with registration open through 21 February 2024. These dates have passed. The OSSC portal showed notices from 2026 when checked, but the available sources do not establish a final result or current outcome for this particular recruitment.

What were the reported eligibility requirements?
Scroll reported an age range of 21–38 years as of 1 January 2023. It described the educational requirements as follows:
- Junior Enforcement Officer: A bachelor’s degree in any stream from a government-recognized university. The report also described a route for retired military officers with a bachelor’s degree and basic computer knowledge.
- Junior Accountant: +3 Arts, Science, or Commerce, or an equivalent qualification, along with computer skills.
