Which OSSC CRE Mains admit card was released?
The notice concerned the Odisha Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) for Junior Stenographer and Junior Grade Typist-2024, under Advertisement No. 4421/OSSC dated November 6, 2024. Scroll reported the admit-card release on April 9, 2025. Its report is the source for the event-specific details below; an original OSSC release notice was not available in the retrieved sources.
How candidates were told to download the hall ticket
Scroll’s April 9, 2025 report directed candidates to the official OSSC website and gave these steps:
- Visit the OSSC website.
- Select the CRE mains admit-card link on the homepage.
- Enter the requested login details and submit.
- Check the displayed admit card and download it.
- Print the downloaded hall ticket for reference.
What the official OSSC portal shows now
The current OSSC site provides a general admit-card interface. It asks candidates to select a post, enter their date of birth, choose one identifier—registered mobile number, username, or registration number—and complete a captcha. The notices currently visible concern later recruitment activity, so the interface does not establish that the historical CRE-2024 link remains active.

If you are checking the portal now, confirm that the examination name and Advertisement No. 4421/OSSC match your recruitment cycle before entering details. Do not assume a later CRE notice or admit-card link applies to this examination.

Scroll reported that the mains exam was scheduled for April 12, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Bhubaneswar. The date and time are historical, not an upcoming schedule.
- Shortlisted candidates: Scroll reported 797 candidates shortlisted for the mains.
- Vacancies: Scroll reported 60 vacancies in the recruitment drive.
- Negative marking: Scroll reported a deduction of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
These schedule and recruitment figures are attributed to Scroll’s 2025 report; the retrieved sources did not include the original OSSC notice for this release.
