Optcoin Exchange’s reported MSB registration and eye-catching performance figures come from a company announcement published by TechBullion on August 19, 2025—not from independent confirmation of its regulatory status or trading performance. The announcement says the exchange registered as a Money Services Business, claims its engine handles 300,000 transactions per second with order responses under one millisecond, and promotes a “100% reserve guarantee.” Those statements should be treated as claims, not verified facts about user access, execution or solvency.
What did Optcoin announce?
A TechBullion article dated August 19, 2025, reported that Optcoin Exchange had registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) and presented the registration as part of the company’s expansion strategy. The article also said Optcoin operates across Asia, serves users in more than 130 countries, and offers spot trading, futures, perpetual contracts and asset management. The announcement uses the phrase “100% reserve guarantee,” but the reviewed source provides no reserve report, named auditor, proof-of-reserves method or custody details. A reader should distinguish a company’s reserve claim from documentation that explains what assets and liabilities were counted, who checked them, and when. None of that detail is supplied in the announcement.
