The recruitment was for 65 Assistant Professor posts across 15 disciplines at Odisha government engineering institutions; candidates seeking updates should use OPSC’s current notices, not treat the 2024 announcement as an open application.
What the 2024 OPSC recruitment covered
The advertisement concerned faculty posts in government engineering institutions in Odisha. It was not the separate OPSC Assistant Professor (Stage-I) recruitment for government degree colleges.

OPSC’s portal provides candidate navigation for advertisements, notices, results, calendars, syllabi, FAQs, and its “Apply Online” service. The 2024 application window is over, but later recruitment-stage notices have appeared under Advertisement No. 35 of 2023-24: OPSC lists an addendum dated June 11, 2025 concerning the method of selection, along with discipline-specific notices in September 2026.
- Open the OPSC official portal.
- Go to the advertisement or notice section and locate Advertisement No. 35 of 2023-24.
- Check each notice’s date, discipline, notice type, and any action deadline. A later notice may concern a particular recruitment stage or discipline rather than a new application opportunity.
OPSC states on its portal: “OPSC follows a robust, transparent and merit based process in all the recruitments.”
