No—the OPSC PGT registration is not open today. The 1,375-post recruitment was advertised in 2023–24, and its application window closed in March 2024. The original deadline was March 2; Scroll.in reported that OPSC extended it to March 18, 2024. For current vacancies, use the official OPSC portal and check its latest notices rather than relying on an old application link.
Is OPSC PGT registration open today?
No. As of October 8, 2026, the 1,375-post application is a closed recruitment, not a live vacancy announcement. OPSC Advertisement No. 25 of 2023–24 covered Group-B Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts in Odisha. The commission’s current website has newer notices, but its current feed does not establish that this 1,375-post form is available.

Where to find the official OPSC application link now
Use the OPSC official portal to review current recruitment notices. The commission’s general application guidance describes an Apply Online flow, but that guidance is not evidence that the old PGT form remains active. Do not submit personal information through an old or unofficial form presented as the 1,375-post application.

What the 1,375-post recruitment covered
OPSC Advertisement No. 25 of 2023–24 advertised 1,375 Group-B PGT posts for 50 Government Higher Secondary Schools and 106 Upgraded Higher Secondary Schools under Odisha’s Department of School and Mass Education. The notice included recruitment details and subject-specific syllabi. The 1,375 figure belongs to that recruitment; it is not a current vacancy count.
Preparing for a future OPSC PGT recruitment
For preparation, match any syllabus or study material to the subject and advertisement for the recruitment you plan to take. The 2023–24 notice’s syllabus was subject-specific, so a generic PGT resource may not cover the relevant subject. Treat commercial books or courses as optional study aids, not official requirements or endorsements, and check that the edition aligns with the applicable notice.
