A Scroll report published December 12, 2024, said applications were open until December 12. That conflicts with the date printed in OPSC’s advertisement; the official notice’s December 11 deadline is the date to rely on.
Is the OPSC AAO application still open?
No. The 2024 application window has closed. OPSC has since had later recruitment activity, including a separate 2025-26 AAO advertisement for 118 posts, so the 2024 dates and vacancy details should not be applied to that cycle. For current openings, check the OPSC website and use the notice for the relevant advertisement.

The advertisement listed 124 Assistant Agriculture Officer, Class-II (Group-B) posts in the Odisha Agriculture and Food Production Service, under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Government of Odisha. The category breakdown was:

What pay did the post offer?
The notice placed the post at Level 10 of the pay matrix under the Odisha Revised Scales of Pay (ORSP) Rules, 2017. It also gave the corresponding pre-revised scale as Rs. 9,300–34,800, with grade pay of Rs. 4,600, plus applicable allowances.
