What went live on Amazon India
The Nord 4 product listing was reported as available for pre-order on Amazon India on July 19, 2024. The coverage described a normal Amazon product order rather than a separately documented booking-fee scheme, but it did not preserve every listing detail, including the exact delivery date, seller information, colour inventory or whether every memory configuration could be ordered at that moment. Those details should be treated as listing-specific rather than assumed.
The launch announcement itself was dated July 16, 2024. Any Amazon page viewed now may show different pricing, sellers, delivery estimates, colours, return terms or promotional eligibility.
Contemporaneous PC-Tablet coverage also reported the pre-order event and headline prices.

All official configurations and launch prices are listed on OnePlus’s India specifications page. The 12GB model should not be presented as definitely available in the original Amazon pre-order window without a matching listing record.
How the reported SBI offer worked
The launch-period reports described two conditional discounts:
- Up to ₹2,000 instant discount: for eligible Prime customers using an SBI credit card on EMI.
- ₹750 discount: on eligible non-EMI SBI credit-card transactions.
Using the reported ₹2,000 reduction, the 8GB/128GB price would calculate to ₹27,999 and the 8GB/256GB price to ₹30,999. Those are conditional effective prices, not universal sale prices. The available reports do not establish whether the ₹2,000 offer covered every variant, required a minimum transaction, excluded particular card networks or had a campaign cap.
At checkout, verify that the discount appears before payment. Amazon and bank campaigns can exclude corporate, prepaid or otherwise ineligible cards, and an EMI conversion may have separate terms. Prime membership was part of the reported EMI offer, not a general requirement for buying the phone.

These figures come from OnePlus’s official specifications at oneplus.in/nord-4/specs. Some contemporaneous coverage incorrectly cited a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging; the official figures are 5,500mAh and 100W SUPERVOOC.
Why the Nord 4 stood out
Performance and storage
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 targets buyers who want strong mid-range performance, including gaming and demanding multitasking. The 256GB versions use UFS 4.0 storage, while the 128GB version uses UFS 3.1, making storage speed and capacity part of the configuration choice. The 12GB model offers more memory, but available reports do not establish a benchmark advantage sufficient to justify its premium for every user.
Metal design
OnePlus promoted the Nord 4 as the only metal-unibody 5G smartphone in its sales regions. That is a manufacturer marketing claim with a regional limitation, not an independently verified worldwide distinction. Details appear on OnePlus’s product page and its Metalverse page.
Battery and charging
OnePlus claims a full charge in approximately 28 minutes and up to five hours of Netflix playback from a five-minute charge under its controlled test conditions. Actual results depend on the charger and cable, temperature, battery level, software and use. The phone’s 100W speed also requires compatible OnePlus charging hardware.

Cameras and AI tools
The 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera has optical image stabilisation; the 8MP ultrawide is specified with a 112-degree field of view, and the selfie camera is 16MP. OnePlus also advertised RAW algorithms and tools including AI Summarizer, AI Audio Summarizer, AI Text Translator, AI Note Summarizer, AI Eraser/Nord Erase, AI Clear Face and AI-generated captions. OnePlus says AI availability can vary by region, language, account, software version and later OTA rollout. The hardware and company claims do not by themselves establish flagship-level photographic quality.

OnePlus announced at least four generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates from launch. It also publicised a six-year “fluency” certification from TÜV SÜD. The first two are manufacturer support commitments; they do not guarantee a particular Android version or patch status at a later date. Who should consider it—and the trade-offs
- Good fit: buyers prioritising processor performance, a large 120Hz AMOLED display, metal construction, fast charging and long stated software support around the ₹30,000–₹36,000 launch range.
- Camera compromise: the 8MP ultrawide is less ambitious on paper than the stabilised 50MP main camera; no independent evidence here supports calling the system best-in-class.
- Size: at 199.5g with a 6.74-inch display, it is a large phone.
- Storage choice: 256GB brings both more capacity and UFS 4.0; the 12GB/256GB version costs more for users who genuinely need additional memory.
- AI uncertainty: advertised features may not be available in every market or software build.
Amazon checkout checklist
- Confirm the exact RAM/storage variant and colour.
- Check the seller name, rating, delivery date and pin-code eligibility.
- Check whether the selected SBI card and EMI or non-EMI method qualifies.
- Make sure the discount is visible on the final payment screen.
- Review return, replacement and warranty terms.
- Confirm whether the current listing includes a charger and cable; the historical reports do not establish this.
- Compare the final tax-inclusive total with current prices elsewhere before ordering.
Bottom line for the July 2024 offer
The reported Amazon pre-order made the Nord 4’s 8GB versions available at their official ₹29,999 and ₹32,999 launch prices, with a possible SBI-linked reduction for eligible shoppers. Its strongest reasons to buy were the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, 5,500mAh battery, 100W charging, metal build and extended support promise—not an independently proven camera advantage. Because the offer was reported on July 19, 2024, treat every price, stock status and delivery detail as historical until a current Amazon India listing confirms otherwise.
