Onebrief announced a $50 million Series C on February 10, 2025, saying the round brought its total capital raised to $103 million. That is a historical figure, not the company’s current cumulative total: Onebrief later announced another financing round.

What is Onebrief?

Onebrief describes its product as software for military operational planning and staff workflows. Its current platform page presents it as a command decision platform that brings operational data, collaborative planning, AI-enabled workflows and wargaming into a shared workspace for commanders and military staffs. Those are the company’s descriptions, not independent assessments of the product’s effectiveness. Onebrief’s platform overview

Who invested in Onebrief’s Series C?

In its February 10, 2025 announcement, Onebrief said General Catalyst and Insight Partners led the $50 million round. Caffeinated Capital, 9Yards Capital and Human Capital also participated. Human Capital had led the company’s Series B in 2024, according to the announcement.

How much had Onebrief raised?

After the Series C, Onebrief reported that it had raised $103 million in total. The number describes the company’s stated cumulative funding as of February 10, 2025; it should not be read as a current total.

Onebrief’s media center later listed a January 23, 2026 announcement titled “Onebrief Closes $200M Series D At $2.15B Valuation, Acquires Battle Road Digital.” Those $200 million and $2.15 billion figures belong to the later Series D announcement, not the 2025 Series C. Onebrief’s media center

What did Onebrief say it would do with the funding?

The company said it planned to use the proceeds to continue developing its platform, expand its team and develop its customer base. Specific areas named in the announcement included deployment solutions, offline capabilities, an AI Co-planner and longer-term AI-driven wargaming to support course-of-action development. These were stated investment plans, not confirmation that the features or outcomes had been completed.

The announcement also said former Acting Secretary of Defense Chris C. Miller and retired Lieutenant General Lewis Craparotta would join Onebrief’s board. That records an appointment announcement in February 2025; it does not establish either person’s current board status.

Why the funding announcement matters—and what it does not establish

The round is a financing milestone for a company building software for military commands and staffs, rather than a consumer finance or shopping product. Onebrief’s features page describes a continuously updated operational picture, structured data cards and AI-supported workflows. Onebrief’s features overview

The company’s announcement and product pages explain its ambitions and product positioning, but they do not independently verify military-planning performance, customer outcomes or the effectiveness of the proposed AI capabilities. The funding figures and planned uses described here are company-reported.
