Old Navy describes its Extra High-Waisted A-Line Wide-Leg Jeans as loose through the hip and thigh, with a wide-leg flare below the ankle and a rise that sits just below the natural waist. The product listing gives three inseam options and a mostly cotton fabric blend, but it does not establish whether the jeans run true to size or how they perform after wear. Treat price, stock and listing ratings as changeable snapshots.
What the A-line jeans are
Old Navy’s product 549315 is titled Extra High-Waisted A-Line Wide-Leg Jeans. The retailer says they are “Loose from hip to thigh, with a wide-leg flare below the ankle” and sit “Right below your natural waist.” It also describes the denim as having “a smidge of stretch” for a broken-in fit. The A-line model is distinct from Old Navy’s similarly named Extra High-Waisted Wide-Leg Jeans and Curvy Extra High-Waisted Wide-Leg Jeans. Those are separate catalog styles, not interchangeable names for product 549315. Old Navy women’s new arrivals and women’s bottoms show the broader catalog.
How the inseams and model information differ
Old Navy lists these inseams for the A-line jeans:

Fabric and care instructions
The listed composition is 83% cotton, 11% recycled polyester, 5% recycled cotton and 1% spandex. The listing also identifies Secret-Smooth front pockets. Old Navy’s care guidance is to machine wash cold inside out with similar colors and tumble dry low; it advises against bleach.
Are they true to size, and do they stretch?
The listing does not establish whether these jeans are true to size. Old Navy’s description of a loose hip-and-thigh fit may help explain the intended silhouette, but it cannot substitute for wearer reports or a fit comparison. Likewise, the retailer’s phrase “a smidge of stretch” and the listed 1% spandex indicate a small stretch component in the composition; they do not establish how much the denim gives during wear or whether it retains its shape.

When the Light-Wash listing for product 549315 was surfaced, it showed the jeans out of stock, with a $49.99 regular price and a $24.97 clearance price. Those are listing snapshots, not a guarantee of current price or availability. The same listing displayed 117 ratings and a score of 4.66. Check the product listing for current details.
