What OKX Money is—and how it differs from OKX Pay
OKX describes Money as a new standalone app for saving, sending and spending digital dollars. That distinguishes it from OKX Pay, which the company previously described as an in-app product. The earlier product history does not establish that the two services have the same features or availability.
In its October 6, 2026 announcement, OKX says the app is aimed at people in emerging markets, including people who have not used a crypto application before. The company puts that audience at roughly 70%, but gives no survey or methodology for the figure. The announcement also says OKX operates within regulatory licensing frameworks in more than 30 jurisdictions; that company statement does not establish that OKX Money is authorized in any particular country.
Stablecoin balances, funding and rewards
Funding and supported balances
OKX says customers will be able to fund accounts using more than 50 supported currencies, with funds converted into dollar-backed stablecoins. The company names USDG, USDC and USDT as balances customers can hold, and says supported stablecoins can be converted without conversion fees. These are OKX’s announced product claims; the launch page does not provide a complete currency list or explain all conversion conditions.

The advertised USDG reward
Qualifying customers may receive up to 10% APY on eligible USDG balances, according to OKX. The company says no staking or lockup is required. The headline rate applies to eligible USDG balances only; OKX does not say that USDC or USDT balances earn it. The announcement does not specify how the reward is generated, how long the rate applies, or the complete terms, so the maximum advertised APY should not be treated as a guaranteed or universal return.
Payments, cards and cashback
OKX says customers can use virtual or physical cards to spend. For purchases made in a currency different from the account balance, the company advertises zero foreign-exchange fees and no conversion markup, subject to eligibility and regional availability. OKX frames conventional foreign-exchange fees as adding 2% to 5% to a purchase, but the launch article provides no methodology for that figure; it is the company’s comparison, not an independently established market-wide estimate.

The announcement also advertises up to 10% cashback on qualifying purchases for eligible customers. It does not give the complete eligibility rules or explain how long that offer will be available. OKX additionally describes commissions for customers who refer users that activate and spend with a card. That customer referral feature is not evidence of a publisher affiliate program.
Where OKX Money will be available
OKX says rollout will begin in participating markets and expand over time as it evaluates performance and customer service. Its launch announcement does not identify the initial countries. A broad reference to emerging markets is not a country availability list, and the company says product features and rates vary by region. Prospective customers need to check whether the app and each feature are offered where they live, along with the applicable eligibility requirements and terms.

What to verify before relying on the service
The launch announcement introduces features rather than setting out the complete contractual, regulatory or rate terms for each market. Before moving money or relying on the advertised benefits, check the terms that apply to your location and account, including:
- Whether OKX Money is available to residents of your country and which legal entity provides it.
- Which funding currencies, stablecoin balances, cards and transfer functions are enabled in your region.
- The reward rate and eligibility rules for USDG, including whether the rate can change and how rewards are calculated and paid.
- Any limits, charges or processing conditions for funding, conversions, withdrawals, transfers and card spending.
- The card’s cashback qualifications and the foreign-exchange and conversion terms that apply to your transactions.
