Amazon previewed discounts of up to 30% on select LEGO and MAGNA-TILES building sets and creative-play items, but that does not establish that a particular toy is still discounted or available. The official U.S. sources reviewed also do not verify a list of exactly 130 deals or a specific Melissa & Doug offer.
What were the October Prime Day toy deals?
Amazon calls its fall shopping event Prime Big Deal Days, distinguishing it from summer Prime Day. For the U.S. in 2026, Amazon scheduled the event for 12:01 a.m. PDT Tuesday, October 6, through 11:59 p.m. PDT Wednesday, October 7—a 48-hour sale. Amazon described it as a Prime-member event, with offers available while supplies last. Amazon’s U.S. event announcement has the dates and event details.
Amazon’s preview named selected LEGO and MAGNA-TILES building sets and creative-play products among offers of up to 30% off. That is a maximum for selected items, not a discount guaranteed for every set or for the whole category. The preview also mentioned select sensory toys, collectibles, and games. Amazon’s toy-offer preview does not establish an individual listing’s current price or stock.
Are toy deals still available?
The 2026 U.S. event ended on October 7. A deal mentioned in an event preview should not be assumed to remain live afterward: prices and availability can change, and Amazon says event offers last only while supplies last. Check the exact product page for the current price, stock, shipping marketplace, and Prime eligibility before purchasing.

How to check whether a toy discount is worthwhile
- Open the exact product listing. Confirm the set or toy, edition, size, and other variant details; a brand search page is not evidence that a specific item is on sale.
- Check the current offer and eligibility. Verify the price shown, whether the offer requires Prime, whether the item is in stock, and who is selling or shipping it.
- Compare the listing’s reference price with its history. Amazon says its product pages can show up to 365 days of price history. Use the “Price History” feature where available to see whether the current price is low relative to that item’s own recent prices, rather than relying only on a displayed savings percentage. See Amazon’s explanation of Price History.
- Decide whether the toy fits the recipient. Check the recommended age and product details, then weigh the actual price against the toy’s features and your budget.
What about Melissa & Doug Prime Day deals?
Amazon’s official U.S. materials reviewed here do not confirm a specific Melissa & Doug Prime Big Deal Days offer. Amazon Canada’s preview mentioned discounts on select Melissa & Doug play sets, but that is evidence about the Canadian marketplace, not the U.S. Use the relevant country’s Amazon listing and verify the item’s live offer rather than treating a Canadian promotion as a U.S. deal. Amazon Canada’s event preview describes its marketplace offers.
Does the roundup contain exactly 130 deals?
The number 130 appears in the proposed roundup title, but Amazon’s official U.S. event sources reviewed do not verify that count. Treat it as an unconfirmed roundup count, not an official total or a guarantee that 130 individual toy listings are discounted.

Why Amazon holds a fall sale
Amazon positions Prime Big Deal Days as a chance to shop for fall hosting, decorating, and holiday gifts. Carmen Nestares, Amazon’s vice president of North America Marketing and Prime Tech, framed the event as a way to prepare for those occasions while saving. That is Amazon’s promotional description, not a guarantee that every offer represents a meaningful saving.
