Registration was reported to run from March 7 through April 6, 2023, with applications closing at 5:00 PM on April 6. The reviewed sources do not establish the final result or current status of every post.

When did applications close?
Contemporaneous reporting says online registration opened on March 7, 2023 and closed on April 6, 2023. Scroll.in reported the deadline as 5:00 PM on April 6. That deadline has passed, so this notice should not be treated as an active vacancy or the old application link as a current way to apply.

What was the reported application process?
For the 2023 drive, reports described an online process through the OAVS website:
- Visit the OAVS website and open the recruitment or application link.
- Register and complete the online application form.
- Pay the applicable application fee and submit the form.
- Keep a printout of the submitted application for your records.
These steps describe the process reported at the time; they are not instructions for a currently open application. See the contemporaneous notices from Hindustan Times and Scroll.in.
What application fees were reported?
| Post category | General category | SC/ST/PwD |
|---|---|---|
| Principal | ₹2,000 | ₹1,250 |
| Teaching posts | ₹1,500 | ₹1,000 |
These amounts were reported in coverage of the 2023 notice by Hindustan Times and Scroll.in. Candidates would have needed to consult the detailed notification for distinctions among posts and any other applicable fee conditions.
How were candidates to be selected?
Contemporaneous reporting described selection as involving a computer-based test, an interview and a performance test, as applicable to the post and the stated modalities. Hindustan Times said the online question paper was bilingual; a copy of the detailed modalities identifies English and Odia. The modalities copy also says OAVS retained discretion over selection mode and shortlisting criteria.

Where can you verify eligibility requirements?
The contemporaneous coverage directs applicants to the detailed notification for education requirements and age limits but does not enumerate them. The available copy of the modalities is not independently verified against an official OAVS archive. The sources reviewed therefore do not establish definitive subject-wise degrees, teacher-training qualifications, experience, reservation rules or age limits. Anyone checking historical eligibility should locate an authentic copy of the original OAVS notification rather than rely on a summary or assume requirements from a different recruitment year.

Does the 2023 notice show the result or current vacancy status?
No. The sources cited here establish the announced vacancy counts and reported application schedule, but not the final result or the current status of every post. For any later OAVS recruitment or result, use a current official OAVS announcement; the 2023 application window is closed.
