The January 2026 Tier-1 NVS/KVS admit-card release is no longer current: those exams were held on 10 and 11 January. As of 8 October 2026, CBSE’s recruitment page lists a provisional Tier-2 admit card dated 17 September 2026. Start at the official CBSE recruitment page and choose the admit-card link for your stage.

Download the current NVS/KVS admit card

  1. Open the CBSE recruitment page.
  2. Find the KVS/NVS Recruitment Drive 2025 entry for your examination stage. The listing checked on 8 October 2026 showed “Admit Card Tier 2-Provisional for KVS/NVS Recruitment Drive – 2025,” dated 17 September 2026. Select the link only if you need the Tier-2 card.
  3. On the official candidate login, enter your registration number, password and the displayed security pin. The current Tier-2 login asks for a registration number beginning with 2598 and also displays biometric-attendance consent and a forgotten-password/registration-number route.
  4. After logging in, retrieve your e-admit card and check the examination centre and schedule shown on it. Keep your credentials private.

Which number should you use to log in?

Use your registration number, not your application number. The 8 January 2026 Tier-1 notice specified a registration number beginning with 2598 and the password created during the application. It explicitly warned candidates not to use the application number. The current Tier-2 login likewise requests a registration number beginning with 2598.

What happened to the January Tier-1 admit card?

The joint KVS/NVS public notice dated 8 January 2026 said Tier-1 admit cards had been issued to applicants who completed the online application. It scheduled the Tier-1 examinations for 10 and 11 January 2026; those dates have passed. That notice is useful for understanding the earlier release, but it is not a current announcement that a new Tier-1 card has been released.

Where are admit cards and exam-centre details provided?

The Recruitment Notification 01/2025 says e-admit cards for Tier-I, Tier-II, interviews and skill tests are made available through the candidate’s application login. It states that centre details and the exam schedule are displayed two days before the examination. Check later official notices and your login for the timing that applies to your stage, since schedules and portal links may change.

If the login does not work

  • Check that you entered your registration number rather than your application number, and that the password is the one associated with your application.
  • Use the portal’s displayed forgotten-password or registration-number recovery route if you cannot recall your credentials.
  • Return to the CBSE recruitment listing and verify that you selected the correct stage-specific link. Do not rely on an old Tier-1 notice for a later stage’s access details or schedule.
