NTTはどこへ、いつ移転する？
移転先は、千代田区内幸町一丁目に建設中のNTT日比谷タワーです。NTTが2025年12月8日に公表した計画では、本社を2031年に移転する予定です。タワーの完成目標は同年10月末ですが、移転時期と建物の完成時期は別の節目です。発表では計画内容が変更となる場合があるとも明記されています。
建設は2025年12月1日に始まりました。タワーは日比谷公園に隣接する内幸町一丁目再開発の中地区に位置し、NTT都市開発と東京電力パワーグリッドが事業者として発表しています。所在地や規模、用途は事業者の計画概要で確認できます。
NTT日比谷タワーには何が入る計画？
NTTの発表によると、タワーは地上約230メートル、延べ床面積約36万1,000平方メートル。地上48階、地下6階、塔屋2階の構成が計画されています。これらは完成後の実測値ではなく、事業者が公表した計画上の数値です。

NTTが掲げるIOWN構想とは？
NTTは日比谷の取り組みを、IOWN構想を実装する「光の街」というビジョンに結び付けています。NTTの説明では、IOWNは光技術を軸にした情報通信ネットワーク・情報処理基盤の構想で、大容量通信やコンピューティング資源の活用を目指すものです。
