NTA released the NCET 2024 advance examination-city intimation slip on 5 June 2024. Candidates could access it at ncet.samarth.ac.in with their application number and date of birth. The slip showed the exam date and allotted city; it was not the admit card. These are historical instructions for the 2024 exam, which was scheduled for 12 June 2024.
How candidates could download the NCET 2024 city slip
- Go to ncet.samarth.ac.in.
- Use the city-intimation slip login and enter your application number and date of birth.
- Open and download the advance examination-city intimation slip, then review the details and instructions shown on it.
NTA said the slip was available from 5 June 2024. The steps above describe access to that 2024 notice; they do not establish that the old portal still offers a usable slip or apply to a later NCET cycle.
What the city-intimation slip showed
The slip informed candidates of the examination date and the city allotted to them, so they could plan ahead. NCET 2024 was scheduled for 12 June 2024 for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the 2024–25 academic session at selected Central and State universities and institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs and government colleges.
City slip versus admit card
The city slip was an advance intimation, not the admit card. NTA explicitly cautioned: “The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for NCET 2024.” The notice said the admit card would be issued later, so candidates should not treat the city slip as the examination admission document.
