There was no general Nintendo discount code for May 2026. Nintendo Support says it does not offer codes for Nintendo Store purchases or coupons for purchases at outside retailers. A separate Nintendo eShop sale ran in Singapore from May 27 through June 9, 2026, but it applied to select digital games in that region—not as a universal checkout code.
Did Nintendo offer discount codes in May 2026?
No general Nintendo coupon code is supported by Nintendo’s published guidance. Nintendo Support says, “There are currently no discount codes available to apply to purchases on Nintendo Store,” and says Nintendo does not provide coupons for purchases from retailers such as GameStop. That guidance concerns Nintendo Store purchases and Nintendo-issued retailer coupons; individual retailers may run their own promotions.

The phrase “Nintendo code” can also refer to a promotional download code tied to an eligible purchase. That is not a reusable checkout coupon: Nintendo says these codes are associated with specific purchase promotions and appear in the purchase history and emailed receipt. Check the promotion’s terms and the account used for the purchase. Nintendo Support explains purchase-associated promotional codes.
What was the May 2026 eShop offer?
Nintendo Singapore announced a sale on select digital games running from May 27 through June 9, 2026. It was a time-limited regional eShop promotion, not evidence of a worldwide May sale or a general discount code. The sale period has ended. See Nintendo Singapore’s sale announcement for the regional offer.

How to look for legitimate Nintendo savings
Check official digital sales
Browse the eShop for your account region and the Nintendo Store’s sales or deals pages. Prices, eligible titles, and end dates change, so confirm the final price and terms on the storefront before buying. Nintendo’s support guidance identifies sales as a way discounts may be available, even when no general code is offered. Nintendo Support’s discount guidance.
Look for eligible My Nintendo discounts
Nintendo says select digital titles may be discounted through My Nintendo. Availability depends on the title and account, so check the offers shown after signing in rather than assuming a discount applies to every game or user. Nintendo Support describes My Nintendo discounts.

- Face off in 2-4 player battles, or play against the computer
Compare refurbished products and retailer prices
Nintendo says refurbished physical games and hardware may be offered through its Store for less than new products. Review the item’s condition and current listing details. For other sellers, treat any markdown or coupon as that retailer’s offer—not a Nintendo-issued code—and compare the total cost, including shipping, eligibility rules, and stock. Nintendo’s US retail-offers page.
Use gift cards carefully
A Nintendo eShop card adds funds to a Nintendo Account; it is not itself a guaranteed discount. If you find a legitimately discounted card, it may reduce what you effectively pay for a later purchase, but availability and savings are not guaranteed. Check that the card is valid for your account’s country or region and review the seller’s terms. Nintendo’s US retail-offers page describes eShop cards and US-account redemption. - Check the exact game, hardware, edition, or bundle included, plus the final price after shipping.
- Note the expiry date, stock limits, and any membership or account requirements.
- Identify who issued the offer: Nintendo, a purchase-specific Nintendo promotion, or an independent retailer.
