The NID DAT B.Des. Prelims result for the 2024–25 admission cycle was declared on 4 April 2024. Candidates checked it through the official admissions portal at admissions.nid.edu using their login credentials. NID said it would not issue a separate digital or paper scorecard, and the sources do not confirm that the old result login still works today.
How candidates checked the 2024 B.Des. result
- Open the official NID admissions portal: admissions.nid.edu.
- Select the B.Des. DAT Prelims result link for the 2024–25 admission cycle.
- Sign in with the requested credentials. Contemporaneous reporting specified the candidate’s email address and date of birth.
- View the result displayed on screen.
This is the historical access route reported for the 2024 result, not confirmation that the link or candidate login remains active. If you are trying to retrieve an old result now, start at the official portal; access may have expired.
Was there a scorecard download?
No separate digital or hard-copy scorecard was to be provided, according to NID’s 2024–25 admissions handbook. The historical instructions describe viewing the result on screen, so do not assume there is a downloadable PDF scorecard.
What the Prelims result meant for admission
NID used Prelims results to prepare category-wise merit lists and shortlist candidates for DAT Mains. The Prelims result alone was not a final admission decision: the handbook says B.Des. final merit would use weighted scores from both Prelims and Mains.

How the B.Des. announcement differed from M.Des.
The title refers to B.Des. The M.Des. DAT Prelims result was declared earlier, on 16 February 2024; the B.Des. result followed on 4 April 2024.

The handbook’s rechecking provision was limited to checking whether answers had been marked and whether marks were totaled and transferred correctly. It did not provide for a general re-evaluation of answers or exam work. The application window for rechecking the 2024 result has passed.
