Public reporting does not confirm whether Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had a prenuptial agreement. The reports describe a divorce settlement plan and a parenting plan, but neither establishes that a prenup existed or governed the terms. The $325 million figure sometimes attached to their divorce is also unverified by the court-filing reports cited here.
What is publicly known about a prenup?
The Associated Press and ABC News reports cited here do not say that Kidman and Urban signed a prenuptial agreement, describe its terms, or attribute their divorce arrangements to one. No on-record confirmation from the couple, their representatives, or the court appears in those reports. Whether a private prenup exists—and what it might say—therefore remains unverified.
What the divorce reports say about assets
The Associated Press reported in September 2025 that Kidman filed for divorce in Nashville after 19 years of marriage. The filing included a dissolution plan agreed by the couple. As AP described it, the plan provided for a roughly equal division of joint assets, while each person kept assets in their own name, including copyrights and royalties from artistic work. The report does not establish a precise percentage or valuation.
A premarital agreement is made before a marriage; a marital dissolution agreement addresses how a divorce is resolved. They are distinct documents. Reporting on a dissolution plan does not prove that the couple had a prenup, or that the plan’s terms came from one.

When was the divorce granted?
AP reported that a Nashville judge granted the divorce on January 6, 2026, after finding the couple’s settlements on assets and child custody sufficient. ABC News also reported the divorce order. That outcome confirms the reported completion of the divorce, not the existence or contents of any premarital agreement.

No. The court-document reporting cited here does not establish $325 million as a court finding, a verified combined net worth, or the value of assets divided in the settlement. Treat it as an unverified estimate, not a confirmed divorce valuation.
