Its historical online presence is associated with offshore forex and CFD services, but a broker’s old website, trading platform, or claimed registration is not enough to establish that it is currently authorized, financially sound, or able to return client funds.
The careful conclusion is not that every person connected with Netotrade has committed fraud. It is that Netotrade does not provide the level of current, independently verifiable regulatory information that a risk-conscious trader should require. If the broker is contacting you now, treat the approach as high risk until its legal entity, regulator, withdrawal process, and current authorization are confirmed directly with an official regulator.
Netotrade verdict: avoid opening a new account
Netotrade should be treated as an unverified or high-risk broker, not as a mainstream regulated provider. That distinction matters. A broker can have a functioning login page, MetaTrader access, social-media accounts, and an apparently professional support team without offering the protections associated with a properly supervised investment firm.
For a legitimate broker, a prospective customer should be able to identify all of the following:

- As a day trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work.
- You only answer to yourself. That is the life of the successful day trader. Many people aspire to it, but very few succeed. Day trading is not gambling or an online poker game.
- To be successful at day trading you need the right tools and you need to be motivated, to work hard, and to persevere.
- the exact company accepting the deposit;
- the regulator supervising that company;
- the firm’s current licence number and permitted activities;
- the jurisdiction governing the customer agreement;
- where client money is held; and
- an effective complaints and compensation process.
Do not rely on a brand name alone. A website may use one name while the account agreement names another company. A licence may belong to an affiliate that does not accept your money. A company-registration entry may show that a business exists without authorizing it to offer retail forex or CFD trading.
Is Netotrade regulated?
The key question is not whether Netotrade has ever claimed to be regulated. The key question is whether the entity serving you today appears in the official register of a regulator that permits it to offer the products being sold to you.
Before sending money, search the regulator’s own register—not a badge on the broker’s website and not a review article. Check that:
- The legal name in the broker’s client agreement exactly matches the legal name in the register.
- The website domain, telephone number, and email address match the regulator’s record.
- The licence is active rather than suspended, cancelled, or expired.
- The permission covers retail forex, CFDs, or the specific investment product offered.
- The broker is not a clone using the identity of a different authorized firm.
If Netotrade cannot provide this information clearly, that is enough reason not to deposit. You do not need to prove that a broker is a scam before deciding that it is too risky.

Why a registration claim may not protect you
Several forms of “regulation” are routinely confused:
| Claim | What it may establish | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Company registration | A business was incorporated in a jurisdiction. | Permission to offer investment services or protection for your money. |
| Offshore financial licence | Some form of local authorization may exist. | The same safeguards as a major-market regulator, or access to compensation in your country. |
| Membership of a private body | A company belongs to an organization. | Government supervision or guaranteed withdrawals. |
| Trading-platform access | The broker can provide software or an account interface. | That trades are fairly executed or client funds are segregated. |
Even a genuine licence must be checked against the entity and product involved. A licence for introducing clients, payments, or another affiliate is not automatically authorization to hold deposits and execute trades.
Common warning signs when dealing with Netotrade
Exercise particular caution if a Netotrade representative:
- promises guaranteed profits or unusually high returns;
- pressures you to deposit before you have read the agreement;
- offers a “bonus” that must be traded many times before withdrawal;
- asks for additional tax, insurance, clearance, or release fees before returning your balance;
- moves the conversation to WhatsApp, Telegram, or a personal email address;
- requests cryptocurrency or a payment to an unrelated individual or company;
- refuses to identify the regulated legal entity;
- claims that a small test withdrawal proves the account is safe; or
- uses remote-access software to operate your computer or online banking.
A demand for more money before a withdrawal is released is especially serious. Legitimate firms may conduct identity and anti-money-laundering checks, but a request to pay an invented “tax” or “unlocking fee” to receive your own balance is a classic advance-fee warning sign.

Trading conditions are not evidence of legitimacy
Low spreads, high leverage, an MT4 or MT5 connection, copy trading, and a polished mobile application may make a broker look credible. None of these features answers the central custody question: what happens if the broker refuses your withdrawal?
High leverage also creates a direct financial risk. A small price movement can consume the account’s margin, and a broker’s advertised leverage may be reduced at its discretion. Traders should read the sections covering:
- margin calls and stop-outs;
- negative-balance protection;
- slippage and rejected orders;
- news trading and scalping;
- automated strategies and multiple accounts;
- bonuses and withdrawal conditions; and
- the broker’s right to cancel trades or change terms.
Rules allowing a broker to void profitable trades using vague terms such as “abusive trading,” “price manipulation,” or “technical exploitation” deserve careful scrutiny. Keep a copy of the agreement and all promotional terms before trading.
How to check Netotrade before depositing
- Find the legal entity. Open the client agreement, risk disclosure, and website footer. Record the company name, registration number, address, and governing law.
- Search the regulator directly. Use the regulator’s website and search the exact legal name, domain, and licence number. Do not use a link supplied only by a salesperson.
- Check warnings. Search the relevant regulator for the brand and domain. A warning is not the only reason to avoid a firm, but it is a major one.
- Test the withdrawal process first. If you already have an account, request a small withdrawal without adding money or accepting a bonus. Save the request, timestamps, emails, and payment records.
- Check the payment recipient. The name on the card, bank transfer, or crypto destination should correspond to the authorized operating entity. Payments to individuals or unrelated companies are a serious red flag.
- Do not install remote-control software. No broker needs control of your banking device to verify your identity or process a withdrawal.
What to do if Netotrade is holding your money
Do not pay a further fee merely because a representative says it will release your account. First assemble a file containing your account number, deposit confirmations, transaction history, withdrawal requests, chat logs, emails, phone numbers, wallet addresses, and screenshots of the website and terms.

Then contact the payment provider immediately:
- For a card payment, ask the card issuer about a chargeback and explain that the service or withdrawal is disputed.
- For a bank transfer, ask the bank whether a recall or fraud-payment procedure is available.
- For cryptocurrency, contact the exchange used to send the funds and report the receiving wallet, although crypto transfers are normally difficult to reverse.
- Report suspected fraud to your national financial regulator and law-enforcement or fraud-reporting service.
Be wary of “recovery agents” who find you through social media and request an upfront payment. People who have already lost money to a broker are frequently targeted a second time.

There is not enough reliable, current information to call Netotrade conclusively a criminal scam. However, “not proven to be a scam” is not the same as “safe to use.” A broker that cannot be independently matched to an active licence, a clearly identified operating company, and a credible withdrawal process fails the basic due-diligence test.
For that reason, the practical rating is avoid. Existing customers should focus on preserving evidence and attempting a withdrawal through the original payment channel. New customers should choose a broker that is authorized in their country and whose legal entity and investor protections can be verified in an official register.
FAQ
Is Netotrade a legitimate broker?
Netotrade may have operated as a trading brand, but that does not establish that it is currently authorized or safe. Its present legal entity, licence, and withdrawal arrangements must be verified independently before any deposit. Without that verification, it should be treated as high risk.
Can I trust Netotrade’s regulation claims?
Only after matching the exact company, domain, licence number, and permitted activities against the regulator’s official register. A company-registration certificate, offshore claim, or website badge is not sufficient proof of retail brokerage authorization.
What should I do if Netotrade asks for a withdrawal fee?
Do not send more money before investigating. Save the request and supporting messages, contact your card issuer or bank immediately, and report the matter to the relevant regulator or fraud-reporting authority.
Does MetaTrader prove that Netotrade is safe?
No. MetaTrader is software supplied to many types of brokers and does not verify licensing, custody of client funds, execution quality, or the ability to process withdrawals.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Netotrade is not a broker I would recommend for a new account or deposit. The decisive issue is the lack of a clearly verifiable, current connection between the broker serving the customer and a regulator that provides meaningful protection. That is enough to avoid the platform, even without making an unproven criminal-fraud accusation.
