That is encouraging for geographic diversification, but it does not by itself prove that Netflix shares are undervalued. Revenue growth includes memberships, price increases, advertising and currency effects, while a bargain judgment requires assumptions about future earnings, cash flow, risk and the valuation benchmark.
What the latest regional results actually show
Netflix reported year-over-year revenue growth in every major region for both periods. The three regions outside UCAN outpaced the home-market segment in each comparison.

For context, Netflix’s total revenue increased 13% year over year in Q2 and 15% in the first half. The figures are reported by Netflix for 2026 and are revenue-growth rates, not a ranking of subscriber additions.

UCAN means the United States and Canada together. Treating it as the United States alone would overstate what the regional comparison says. Netflix reports UCAN as a combined operating segment, so the appropriate conclusion is that the three international segments grew faster than the combined U.S.-and-Canada business during the stated 2026 periods.

Faster percentage growth is not the same as more dollars
A percentage rate does not reveal each region’s contribution to Netflix’s total revenue. A smaller segment can post 20% growth while adding fewer dollars than a larger segment growing at 10%. To assess economic impact, investors need both the growth rate and the region’s revenue base or dollar increase for the same period. The reported rates alone establish relative momentum, not which geography supplied the most incremental revenue.
The ranking has changed before
The 2026 pattern should not be treated as a permanent hierarchy. Netflix’s full-year 2025 regional growth rates were different:

LATAM grew more slowly than UCAN in 2025, even though it was the fastest-growing region in Q2 2026 and remained ahead in the first half. That history is a reminder to evaluate several periods rather than extrapolating one quarter’s order into an enduring trend.

What is driving the revenue growth?
Netflix attributed the Q2 and first-half 2026 increases primarily to membership growth, price increases and higher advertising revenue. It also reported favorable foreign-exchange effects after hedging. Consequently, regional revenue growth should not be presented as a pure measure of customer additions: pricing and monetization can lift revenue even when membership growth is slower, and advertising can add revenue without a proportional change in the paid subscription count.

Reported currency versus constant currency
Exchange rates can change the dollar value of overseas revenue. Netflix also publishes constant-currency comparisons as a separate non-GAAP view. Its calculation holds exchange rates at the comparative-period level and excludes realized hedging gains or losses from revenue. Investors should place reported and constant-currency growth side by side before deciding whether operating momentum, currency translation or both explain a regional result.
Does the growth make Netflix stock a bargain?
Not on the evidence available here. A dated market snapshot showed Netflix closing at $70.61 on October 12, 2026, with a trailing price-to-earnings ratio of 22.25 and a forward P/E of 20.42. The trailing multiple uses earnings already reported; the forward multiple depends on analysts’ estimates for a future period. Neither number is an intrinsic-value calculation.

International growth can support a higher valuation if it leads to durable membership, pricing power, advertising scale and cash generation. It can also carry risks: exchange-rate swings, uneven economic conditions, local competition, content costs and the possibility that growth rates normalize as markets mature. A lower forward P/E than trailing P/E suggests expected earnings growth, but it does not establish that those estimates will be met.
A practical way to test the bargain thesis
- Separate operating facts from assumptions. Start with the reported regional growth rates, then identify the membership, pricing, advertising and currency assumptions needed to forecast future revenue.
- Use comparable periods. Compare Q2 with the prior-year Q2 and the first half with the prior-year first half; do not mix a quarterly rate with a full-year rate as though they measured the same duration.
- Check dollars as well as percentages. Obtain regional revenue contributions and dollar increases before concluding that the fastest-growing geography is the largest earnings driver.
- Review both currency views. Examine reported growth and Netflix’s constant-currency, non-GAAP calculation to gauge how much exchange rates affected the result.
- Define the valuation benchmark. Compare the 22.25 trailing or 20.42 forward multiple with a verified historical range or like-for-like peer set, using the same earnings definition and date.
- Stress-test the estimates. Model slower membership growth, smaller price increases, weaker advertising or unfavorable currency. If the investment case fails under modestly less favorable assumptions, the stock is not a clear bargain merely because overseas revenue is growing quickly.
What could change the conclusion
Netflix’s investor-relations calendar listed third-quarter 2026 results for October 20, 2026, after the figures discussed here. A later report could change the regional ranking, currency interpretation and market multiple. Any investment conclusion should therefore be refreshed with the newest earnings, share price and forward-earnings estimates rather than relying on this October 13 snapshot.

Verdict
The latest evidence supports a narrow claim: EMEA, LATAM and APAC all grew faster than UCAN in Q2 2026 and in the first half of 2026. It does not support the broader claim that Netflix shares are automatically cheap. The stock becomes a potential bargain only if the price, realistic future earnings and risks compare favorably with an explicit benchmark; faster overseas revenue growth is an important input, not the conclusion.
