When did NEET-PG 2024 registration close?
NBEMS opened online applications on 16 April 2024 at 3 PM and set the deadline for 6 May 2024 at 11:55 PM. The dates and times apply to the 2024 cycle; they are not a deadline for a later exam year. The official notice invited applications for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses, as well as Post MBBS DNB, Post MBBS Direct 6-year DrNB, and NBEMS diploma admissions through NEET-PG. Where to find an official application link
Use the NBEMS NEET-PG exam page as the official starting point. It provides year-specific bulletins, application links, guidelines, applicant login, notices, and results. Check the exam year carefully: the 2024 application link does not reopen the closed 2024 window and should not be treated as a live application route.
What the 2024 application process involved
NBEMS’s 2024 user manual described an online application workflow. Candidates were instructed to:

- Register to create a user ID and password.
- Complete the application and upload a photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
- Select a test city.
- Pay the application fee.
- Print the completed form, including its transaction ID.
These steps describe the 2024 cycle, not confirmed instructions for another year. For any later cycle, follow that year’s official bulletin and application materials on the NBEMS exam page.
Registration and counselling are different stages
Submitting an exam application and participating in seat counselling are separate processes. For 2024 AIQ MD/MS/DNB Post MBBS/NBEMS Diploma seats, an NBEMS notice dated 19 November 2024 directed candidates to the centralized merit-based counselling information issued by MCC of DGHS, including its schedule, information bulletin, counselling scheme, and notices. The 2024 application deadline was not a counselling deadline. Consult the relevant official notices for the applicable year and counselling process.
